Wow - that's really thinking ahead! Would you do a land and sea thing or just the cruise?

Just the cruise, with maybe a stop at Sea World and/or Universal. We were looking at the 4-day cruise on the Disney Wonder. We need to think ahead, so we can start saving for it all!

I hear you there! Just make sure you're saving for college for Abby too. Those high school years will fly by!

 This too shall pass, but boy am I glad we're past that! :drevil:

Understood. Abby's currently attempting to work on the homework she missed the last two days of last week. She has now missed 10 1/2 days of school this year. 3 of those have been medically excused, but we got a letter after 8 1/2 (one of those should have excused). It's just maddening...makes me feel like we're letting her skip school when she's just been sick a LOT this year.

Why the half day?

In my school district, if you came to school, and then went home sick, it still counted that you were in school for that day.

No more brace, but it still does not bend completely without a little "discomfort".

What happened today?

We're all under the weather. not "sick" per se, but just feeling icky. Then Marc's job took up most of the day, and we didn't get to go to the pancake breakfast and Maple Syrup festival like we were supposed to. Then I had to go to church with just the girl because Marc was working, and the girl had a holy meltdown and we had to walk out. :(

Ours doesn't do that unless you were to only miss the last hour or so. She left at lunch one day when she had one round of strep. We took her to stat care and they gave us a medical excuse. Which I thought weren't counted against her. I'm taking her current excuse in tomorrow and talking to them. She's an honor roll student for heaven's sake...not a truant.
