minnie, welcome back from your trip! I'm waiting for that trip report with pictures! :)

I'm sorry to hear about your cat, though. I know what an additional expense that can sometimes be, but at least you found him. I'm sure he will like having a rod on his leg, I can't imagine what our cats would think of that.

Thanks. Just out of curiosity, what site/program did you use to make the page? I'm thinking of playing around with some new techniques, and I want to know what else I should give a try.

But with another WDW trip coming in a week, and finals starting shortly after we get back, I think there isn't any scrapbooking in my future until Christmas break :(

I use Photoshop CS. All of my elements and backgrounds come from downloaded freebies. I've only been doing this for a few months, so I'm definitely still learning and so far the freebies I'm able to find have given me more than enough options.
Yay for another WDW trip! Enjoy!
And just think of all the new scrapbooking ideas you'll have once you have time to get back to it!

Thanks both. The vet has just phoned. Tom has a nasty break, and needs to have his leg pinned and an external fixator attached. The poor cat will have a metal bar pinned to the outside of his leg for the next couple of months. Poor thing. :( Even worse, they quoted approx. £600+ for the operation. Just what we need after a Disney holiday! My parents have been great and said they will help out with the vet's fees. The alternative to this surgery would be to amputate the leg, or put him to sleep, and we are not willing to do that.

The main thing is, he is alive and has come home. :sohappy:

So sorry to hear about your cat. Hope he heals well and quickly!

Thanks for the good wishes everyone!

Here is my layout for this week - it is just a quick one, as I am trying to sort out the cat, unpack and wash after the holiday, and sort out a birthday party on Sunday!

Hope the colours are OK.

It may be "just a quick one," but it's really nice. I really like the background paper and how well the matte, title, and embellishments work with it.

Here is mine for this week - it still looks crooked to me. I've taken it apart & re-done it 3 or 4 times, so this will have to do.
