Great job, Coree!
Your family pics are the best and I love the "Family Frosting" thing!

Thanks. I've gotta tell you guys, do you see all the frosting my brother is digging into? It was a cupcake cake and they used frosting not only on top of the cupcakes, but also all around them as filler. The amount of frosting on that thing was just insane. We're a family of frosting junkies, so it was awesome.

I love frosting.
Sometimes I could just skip the cake altogether.
I know. . .I'm disgusting. :king:

I'm right there with you, Dot. The only reason I eat cake is to have an excuse to eat the frosting. :D My dad is the only oddball in the family who doesn't eat frosting (he scrapes it off and throws it away if one of us can't get to it first ).

Great pages, Jenn. I love all the different coordinating papers and the way the colors work so welltogether.

Thanks I had bought the paper for fall not knowing what I would do with it, so when I thought about this challenge, I just thought that I would throw it all together.

Hi everyone! Great layouts - I don't know which I like best!

I am struggling with this one - I can't find anything to match 'f', I can't find a kit with the right colours, so I will have to mix and match, and I can't do paper folds digitally. Other than that, no problem!

(Actually I started a Figment page, but the colours just don't match, they look all wrong, so I think I will start again.)

We got back from WDW on Monday afternoon. I will be doing a trip report soon, but it takes ages to upload photos. We took about 600, and an extra 100 on photopass. I'm trying to sort through them all now. Oh, and trying to do all the washing and unpacking - I really hate this bit.

We were very worried when we got home. My mother has been calling in a few times a day to feed and cuddle our cat. She hadn't seen him for a few days, and he is usually waiting for us when we get home. He came back last night, but with a broken back leg:(. I am just glad he is alive because his leg can be fixed, but the girls are upset. Next time we go away, he will have to stay inside with a litter tray or go to a cattery. My father is a vet, but he is retired, so can't practice any more. The cat is at the vet now, having X-rays, and we are waiting for the phone call. Hopefully it will be a clean break that just needs a plaster.

I will try to do a layout this week, but I don't know if I will really have time!

(BTW when in Florida, we went to Mouse Memories and I bought some lovely papers and embellishments, can't wait to find time to use them!)

i hope your kitty will be fine.

and i can't wait to read your report.

you can do folded paper digitally! or least the illusion of. just take a triangle corner of one paper, and twist it around so the point faces to center of paper. darken the color or lighten the color, (otherwise you will not beable to see the triangle. then just erase that part of the paper where the triangle orginally was.

i know this is the a rough way of doing it. i am sure there must be a traianble tool somewhere, but i have never beenable to find it.

hope you find time, but i understand if you can't for this week.

Thanks both. The vet has just phoned. Tom has a nasty break, and needs to have his leg pinned and an external fixator attached. The poor cat will have a metal bar pinned to the outside of his leg for the next couple of months. Poor thing. :( Even worse, they quoted approx. £600+ for the operation. Just what we need after a Disney holiday! My parents have been great and said they will help out with the vet's fees. The alternative to this surgery would be to amputate the leg, or put him to sleep, and we are not willing to do that.

The main thing is, he is alive and has come home. :sohappy:

Thank you!
High praise, indeed, coming from you!
I love your pages!

Thanks. Just out of curiosity, what site/program did you use to make the page? I'm thinking of playing around with some new techniques, and I want to know what else I should give a try.

But with another WDW trip coming in a week, and finals starting shortly after we get back, I think there isn't any scrapbooking in my future until Christmas break :(

I'm sorry that it sounds like Tom (and your family) will have a rough few months, but it's great that your parents are being so helpful and that the leg can be fixed. Wishing you all the best!
