scrapbook challenge 8aug thru 15 aug

i want to apologize for dropping the ball on our challenges. so to start back up i will go slow and easy.

i would also like to welcome all new scrappers to our forums.

so this weeks challenge will be:

theme SIGNS.

as always if you have no SIGNS from disney, feel free to use any signs you may have from other places.

special requirements: ribbon (s) must be used and the color RED also must be used.

the rest is up to you.

Hurray! A new challenge! I usually don't use ribbons in my scrapbooking so it really will be a challenge for me but this will make me explore and extend my resources in my scrapping. What is the best adhesive to use for ribbons?

Yay Eagles!!

And glue dots are my favorite adhesive for ribbon. You can get them at any craft or scrapbooking store.

Yep, glue dots are great for ribbon. There's also a ribbon glue (I don't remember for sure the brand) but it was a real pain in the neck. I personally love the ribbon that already has adhesive on the back.

Thanks for the advice on the adhesive for ribbons. If I can't find any that already has adhesive, I think I'll try glue dots.

Thanks ladies and I had that one already made. It's just the only one I could remember with signs! I may try to make another, I have some more signs to scrap!!

I made that digitally, and I scanned in the Nemo stickers.

I LOVE your page! You did a great job on it! I love your ribbon! How did you do your journaling box? It looks like you have some sort of a mickey head in there with swirls on the ears. How did you do that? Are the black dots around the edge a rub on? It looks fantastic!
