Can you elaborate...I am very intrigued now. How does something like this happen? Obviously there are current guests in the room. Who moved your stuff? Why did they think they could pack you up and move someone else in?!?:veryconfu
It is a long story, but we had just checked in and got to the room and it had a bad smell and I mean a really bad smell (I believe the person that stayed in the room before us spilled milk and it must have benn in the carpet under the fridge). I called the front desk and complained about it and said I could not stay in this room. They could not hear me because the phone was also not working properly so my DD and I drove up to the main building to take care of this (we stayed in OKW). They said they would try to get us another room. I told them I was going to dinner since we were already late for our ADR @ Chef Mickeys and would deal with this when I get back. They were very accomidating and understanding at this point. I get back from dinner and pull up in front of the main building and start walking in and a bellman walks up to me and are you Mr. ## and I say yes. He says " we have all of you belongings here in storage" I am very confused at this point. Well, aparently when I complained they released my room to inventory and put someone else in there when all of my stuff was still there. Another guest actually checked into my room and when they got there they found all of my stuff out and had Bell Services remove it. They would never admit to it, but it happened. During this they dropped my new camera and damaged it. My cash and credit cards were left on the desk in my room along with my laptop in a haste to get to dinner. After this incident I was very concerned that someone else could get into the room at any point and demanded to be moved to another resort and then the lies started happening. It started as an honest mistake and got ugly and I am not going to get into the really ugly stuff. I will say that I will never stay at that resort ever again.
