That's all opinion... The facts are that it wasn't profitable.

How do you know it wasn't profitable? I heard that it was, once you allocated it's pro-rata share of the Island's entry ticket fees to it.

Staggs would have no idea what the reporter was talking about. And any reporter worth a damn would never have asked it. There are bigger picture things worth asking: Avatar, DHS refurbushment, attendance levels, lobbying efforts in regards to OC county government, etc.

Did any of the worth a damn reporters there ask questions about those things? The meeting was about Disney Springs. So asking a question about AC would hardly have been inappropriate. And if Staggs was not familiar with AC, which I would find difficult to believe, then that says a lot.

Just saw this over at the "Save the Adventurers Club" Facbook Page:

Kungaloosh Adventurers,

I don't know how many of you picked up on this, but take a close look at the top left corner of the concept art for "The Springs". Look to me like 5189 Hill St. still stands intact and apparently with a submarine just beyond it (However, Merriweather's exotic plantlife conservatory (AKA The Neon Armadillo) nextdoor seems to have become a tree). While this is good news indeed, I think that we still should give the powers that be a little nudge to let them know what it is we still want inside the building.

Well if a Veronica Mars movie can raise a little under $4 million dollars on Kirkstarter, how about an Adventures Club one?

Raise enough capital, rent the building from the mouse, and BAM...
I see lots of car washes and pie auctions in our future if we go that route :)

Two likes in 12 hours. I kind of expected fans of a comedy club to have more of, you know, a sense of humor.

Maybe if you'd made your post into a dinner show, JT ...

I knew full well the AC fans would not like my post. They lost their sense of humor about 4 years ago.

I certainly don't always agree with JT, but to ignore him is taking a lot of the fun away from this forum!

How boring would this place be if we all agreed on everything?

You might be able to let you sit at the grown up table soon.

Since the concept art depicts the roof of the Adventurers Club, is there any hope of it returning? Or was it just put there as another tease? Rumor has it that there are quite a few things in the released concept art that actually are not part of the final plans.
