I think I will manage Tomorrowland, as it is my favorite land, and I have the most fleshed out plans for it than any of the other rides proposed for the land.
As this project matures, and as we hone in on our desired lands & attractions, we'll want to subdivide things. Project Managers for each land. Think about what you'd enjoy working on.

Does anyone have any ideas for the resort beyond the park?

Ideas for hotels? Shopping district? Additional resort features?

Here’s a list of ALL the ideas we’ve put forth for the park. Some are conflicting ideas, so our discussion will point to the direction(s) we like more.

MAIN STREET
International theme
Outdoors areas + covered arcades & squares for climate control

“it’s a small world” in train station, using Shanghai Pirates ride tech
Mumbai Disneyland Railroad

CASTLE
Tangled theme
Daytime stage show (@mickeyfan5534)
Nighttime spectacular (sans fireworks)
Possibly taking site plan inspiration from Taj Mahal

HUB
Layout inspired by Taj Mahal site
OR
Oasis fusion of Island of Adventure with Shanghai’s Gardens of Imagination

Daytime parade – Magic Happens expansion by @mickeyfan5534

ADVENTURELAND
Fairly traditional approach, with sublands for India, Africa, & Latin America
OR
Original Lost World + S.E.A. concept with dinosaurs

Splash Mountain with Jungle Book theme (OR in Fantasyland as Winnie the Pooh)
Adventureland Theater – Bollywood show about Arjun
Lion King stage show
Fire Mountain coaster (Disneyland Brazil clone)

FANTASYLAND
Traditional Fantasyland with strong emphasis on gardens
OR
Create 2 lands, Fantasyland & Mythicland, to accommodate large attraction demand

Tangled E-ticket dark ride in the castle (Enchanted Tale ride system)
Fantasyland Theater – Show TBD (world mythology @Tux)
Alice in Wonderland indoor coaster
Frozen retheme of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Scary dark ride – Black Cauldron OR Sleeping Beauty OR Ichabod
Adventurous dark ride – Aladdin
Insane dark ride – 101 Dalmatians OR Sword in the Stone OR Dumbo
Wonder dark ride – Bambi omnimover OR Silly Symphonies OR Fantasia
Philharmagic 2.0 (randomized songs)
Princess meet & greet
Mrs. Potts teacup ride
Pegasus spinner (Dumbo-style)
Tangled tower flat ride
Alice’s Caucus Race caterpillar spinner
Carousel?
Winnie the Pooh playground
Winnie the Pooh river rapids ride
Fantasy River Cruise (if Mythicland is included)
Mr. Toad expansion with Test Track ride system

TOMORROWLAND
Utopian agri-futurist approach (EPCOT-style) like Gardens by the Bay
OR
Space Fantasy approach with more IPs
ALSO
Marvel’s Avengers either added to Tomorrowland or made as a separate land

Space Mountain with WALL*E theme (@ThatGuyFromFlorida)
WALL*E retheme of Astro Orbiter
Wreck-It Ralph retheme of Buzz Lightyear shooter ride
Avengers E-ticket
Tomorrowland Theater – Kaiju theater show

Haunted Mansion variant – Adventureland (Mexican theme) OR Tomorrowland

Looking at this, it seems we have an amazing line up of rides and entertainment. Here are some of my thoughts about some of the things that have been said.

-The idea for a Frozen coaster is not my favorite. I love a good coaster but it seems like Frozen is a bit overdone in the parks.
-Scary Dark Ride should be either Mr. Toad or Sleeping Beauty.
-101 Dalmatians ride sounds amazing!
-i LOVE the idea of Mrs. Potts teacup ride and would totally want to work on that.
-To me, the Winnie the Pooh ideas are fun but they seem out of place. I know most parks have them in Fantasyland but it just doesn't scream fantasy to me.
-I can also do the miscellaneous such as shops and restaurants!

Some mini pitches for entertainment:
Ever After Happily (working title) seems to be set in stone as a daytime parade which makes me happy

I was able to dig up some old ideas for other entertainment that never really developed past a name or a concept:
A night parade centered around a stained glass aesthetic
Disney Fantasy: A Kiss Goodnight: I think this was a nighttime show
Mickey and the Music Box: I know someone had the idea for a Mickey and the ____ show in Fantasyland. I think a Music Box would be a cool main set piece.
Disney Carnivale: Not sure what this was.
Enchanted Fairytale Ball: I do remember this concept decently well. It was somewhere between streetmosphere and stage show and involved the Princesses and Princes.
Shine - A Celebration of Magic: Don't remember what this one was.
An event centered around the lands of the park and their denizens.

Would we be doing ride-throughs for each ride, or just a brief description?
So here's why I suggest to not go too overboard with what should be an opening day park.

Because it will allow is to give ride throughs and detailed info on the layout without having to detail like 30 attractions

Yes this project is due in a week but we can set the due date back if we want. And we can continue to expand the park over time

A full ride through or two is always nice, but the main focus should just be on the park as a whole. Brief descriptions are fine.

Also, WOW! Six Pages already! A lot to catch up on! I have some thoughts.

Change Fantasyland into Fantasy Gardens! Keep the focus on naturalistic styles and meadows and flowers and trees. Very colorful, little focus on European architecture.

Split Adventureland into two sections: Adventure City and Jungle of Wonders! Jungle of Wonders is the very India/Jungle Book Adventureland, possibly with a Latin Subland. Adventure City is a more modern Adventureland set in a NYC/San Fran style city with Marvel attractions and maybe some clones from MGM. Possibly some other more modern IP like Big Hero 6, Toy Story, Incredibles, etc. Plus, the city could have the more "science" based sci-fi while Tomorrowland focuses on the more fantasy and intergalactic side of Sci-Fi!

Skyline Hotel! To help add a City Skyline to Adventure city, it can have a hotel wrapped around the outside themed as a big city skyline.

Small World Main Street! I adore the idea of Small World as the park entrance! I say we take that idea further and make all of Main Street into a very whimsical, bright, colorful storybook come to life avenue inspired by Mary Blair Art like the Small World facade. Maybe call it Storybook Avenue? Possibly even with a Peter Pan ride here instead of in Fantasyland?

I was meaning to quote this before - but we've got a lot of ideas to field from which is great. It's better to have more than less, however not all of these will make it into the park, because some of them clash thematically or are just there because they're cool concepts.

So -- maybe our best move now -- is to hold off on any more new attractions before it gets too wild, and focus on coordinating what we have - starting most definitely with the castle/main entrance.
Not sure if this is the best approach to winnowing things down, but I've made up a comparison of Mumbai Disneyland's attraction roster vs. the two most recent Castle Parks. (Working from memory rather than referencing official lists.) Keep in mind both Shanghai and Hong Kong have added things since they've opened. Bold means ride.

Note that I'm being very vague with some Mumbai descriptions (though we've already assigned 1 or more ideas to these vague things), and I'm making a few editorial decisions. Generally, we seem to have a pretty reasonable opening day park here, slightly heavy on the rides vs. the other parks and slightly light on the other sorts of attractions.

I have made a map of our initial thoughts. It's helped tremendously to get the idea onto paper.

MumabiMap.png

What I quickly found was a more direct port of the Taj Mahal's Islamic Gardens wouldn't work as a central hub, as the 90-degree turns would be very off-putting to guests. To rectify this, I have made a subtle circle. The original plan remains, but guests are now guided along the outer path. There is another path (two per side, actually) that take you across the gardens, which are then surrounded by two water streams, one in the very middle, and the other surrounding some gardening.

We could probably "save" the square by building shops or restaurants in the corners. Then add some walls and minarets to build a self-contained land.

Next up I went to address Adventureland. I suggest splitting up Adventureland into 3-4 mini lands, with "Miniland A" being a village that serves as your "base camp" before journeying to various jungles abound.

I would also like to build on Pi's idea for "Adventure City"... but I would place it near Tomorrowland rather than the jungle. I think it would blend the two lands together well. I'm thinking a central park area with facades all around. The Fantasyland - Adventureland's blend land could possibly be a Peter Pan themed area (without the London references).

I didn't know much to do with Tomorrowland or Fantasyland, so I more mapped out areas for them to go, rather than fully developing them.

We could also take the Disneyland Paris route and put stages and some gardens in the corners. That would also clean up the front of the castle and be a nice challenge for producing a daytime stage show.

I love this name. I adore this name. Make it canon.

Wouldn't it be against the "no clones" rule to have an It's a Small World?
Yeah, there needs to be a decent twist to it. Something that makes it a different ride.

Maybe something like "Storybook Cruise Around the World!" It could be a fake boat trackless dark ride like Aquatopia and weave through rooms in a different path every time maybe? Something that is very roughly like this kind of thing. Different colored paths go through rooms in different orders. Again, super rough sketch of it.

I really like this outline! It puts in perspective really what we should be aiming for not only so we don't overwork ourselves but so we have a realistic look at opening day MK style parks.

I know theres a lot of people with a lot of different thoughts but now kight be a good time to pause and just ask everyone individually

Based on all we've talked about, Mumbai Disneyland, the possible layout, etc - is there one thing you would want to see in the project above all else?

If we can assemble a list of everyone's 'must-do' aspects itll give us a better sense of how to morph the park together and make it easier to divide who does what
