Alright, I've got a rough draft of Ever After Happily done.
Alt Titles I'm considering: Magically Ever After, Disney Moments on Parade, and Happily Ever After on Parade. Other title ideas are welcome

Aesthetically, I'm picturing Tink having the opening float for there to be this sort of trailing pixie dust, like she's the reason the floats have a lot of really cool effects. I'm also considering adding a float to each unit and rearranging and adding units. Indians seem to like longer stuff so I see no issue in a 20-something float parade.

Unit 1: Magical Moments ~ Flights of Fantasy
Float 1: Tinkerbell
Float 2: Peter Pan and Wendy
Float 3: Dumbo Flying
Float 4: Friend Like Me/A Whole New World
Unit 2: Romantic Moments ~ Beauty and Love
Float 5: Ariel and Eric
Float 6: Tiana and Naveen
Float 7: Snow White and the Prince
Unit 3: Victorious Moments ~ Good Conquers Evil
Float 8: Moana
Float 9: Let it Go/Elsa Thaws the Fjords
Float 10: Hercules
Unit 4: Enchanted Moments ~ Transformations That Lead to Happily Ever After
Float 11: Pinocchio Becomes a Real Boy
Float 12: Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo
Float 13: Belle Breaking the Beast's Curse
Unit 5: Dreams Come True ~ Happily Ever Afters
Float 14: Arthur Pulls the Sword in the Stone
Float 15: Aurora dancing with Philip
Float 16: I See the Light
Float 17: Sorcerer Mickey

Please, feel free to add some ideas and critiques. I know I want to figure out something for The Jungle Book which may result in an Adventure or Friendship unit being added. Like I said above, the 3 hour Bollywood spectaculars lead me to believe that for Indians, the longer the better.

Gonna build on these for a second: what if we reworked the hub a bit and had 3 "castles"?

So, for my OLD and never really finished dream park project I did when I was new, Disneyland Kansas, I wanted to do a giant park with three castles: Castle of Yesterday (basically a realistic Scottish/English castle deep in Adventureland with Brave and Robin Hood rides in it), a Castle of Tomorrow (Space Mountain with some design changes), and a Castle of Fantasy (A Disneyland Paris style storybook castle). Again, never really followed through on all this.

What if we take that three "castle" idea a step further and had a big weenie attached to the hub for each of pur three main lands!

We were talking about the square Islamic gardens as our hub with main street on the South end and the castle across from it on the North End. What if we have our Wall-E Space Mountain as a grand icon on the East end of our Garden serving as both an icon and an entrance to the land. Then we cpuld have Jungle Book or Fire Mountain or whatever be our icon/entry into Adventureland.

A unique hub with three icons!
Yeah that could work. I was thinking of focusing on placement for instance being in Liberty Square and seeing the Utah mountains of BTMR, or walking near the speedway and seeing the Contemporary behind Space Mountain. It's hard to think about that in fantasy parks because there's no ground level view but for however long the project goes my main goal would be to make the attractions feel well placed.

It will also be inside a bronze dome, like the one that used to be in California. And it will show signs of gradual changes from a derelict wasteland, to a place full of green trees, but still having a lot of browns.

This is going to come off as SUPER harsh but I can't think of something less inviting than that brown paint job on Space Mountain. It looks apocalyptic.

The spinner ride needs a name. It’s going to have a very unique theme, as it will have unique vehicle designs for each vehicle, and will look like it was made of junk. One of the vehicles could be a dumbo car, another could be a radio flyer wagon, and another could be a cardboard box! It’s going to be wall-e themed as well. Any names?

Maybe it could be toned down a bit more, because it’s meant to look apocalyptic, but still show signs of healing, as the humans gradually restore the earth to a more natural form. I understand where your coming from.

I know theres a lot of people with a lot of different thoughts but now kight be a good time to pause and just ask everyone individually

Based on all we've talked about, Mumbai Disneyland, the possible layout, etc - is there one thing you would want to see in the project above all else?

If we can assemble a list of everyone's 'must-do' aspects itll give us a better sense of how to morph the park together and make it easier to divide who does what
I really just want the project to be a great fit for India.

A park full of song, colors, happiness and joy, like a permanent festival!

Honestly the pessimistic ideas being discussed will be a very poor fit for India. Trust me from what I saw there. The Indian people go to Bollywood movies to escape. Make it bright & silly, add music wherever you can!

New Castle Parks are common enough in Armchair Imagineering. If your cool idea doesn’t fit this resort, don’t worry, there will be another, better opportunity

I think this should be the message we try to send - bright and silly!

Like @Outbound said, I want to be here more for support and sharing/building on ideas. I'll focus on whatever and follow whatever the players want. I do really like the Small World/Mary Blair style entrance and/or Main Street idea. But I won't be heartbroken if we don't go that way.
You & me both, Pi! I love how you’ve plussed our Main Street discussion with the increased Mary Blair influence. (@Outbound too.) I would really enjoy being lead on this land with you if you’re interested.

Like I said above, the 3 hour Bollywood spectaculars lead me to believe that for Indians, the longer the better.
TOTALLY!

If were sticking with a castle for the main icon, can we at least have a different twist on it. I was thinking of maybe doing a Small World style castle with elements inspired by both the Small World exterior and the Tower of the Four Winds. Each tower of the castle could be done in a different abstract Mary Blair style and represent a different land within the park. If I can get free reign over this I'd be happy to attempt some actual artwork.
