Rumor about 20K Space

Spoke to 2 separate cast members which I wont talk any salt with what they said I just thought it was funny.

The first said Voage to the Center of the Earth was going there and the other was Aladdin Magical voyage thru Agrabah. Which neither one fit in with the scene there.

1 Cast Member said she would like something to be done with Beauty and the Beast or Finding Nemo.

1. Center of the Earth would be great...but ain't happening.
2. Aladdin would work, sort of, as an adaptation of the Sinbad ride from Disneysea...but it ain't happening either.

Bottom line...a year to 18 months from now, the front part will be home to Pooh and Tigger's houses. Sad, but apparently true...so I hear.

And pretty soon we'll see the bear take over the mouse as company mascot. Seriously, is the whole Pooh deal still in court? Cause it seems like the company wants to milk the bear for everything he's worth while he still can.

Sigh... As if the merchandise overload wasn't enough, they're gonna cram more Pooh down our throats.

Don't think so...
I seem to remember hearing that the judge ruled in Disney's favor.
The other side may have appealed...but I haven't heard about it.
This leaves the door open to Pooh and friends having a larger presence in the parks, for sure in Fantasyland as in my original post.

I'm sure a teen or a mom are about to jump in here and scold us, saying how much they/their daughter think Pooh is adorable and that, frankly, Fantasyland is for kids. So I'll just get ahead of them all and say this: I love Lady and the Tramp, it's my favorite Disney movie. But you don't see me asking Disney to turn Fantasyland into Scampland, do you? The parks should fit them all, and we already have a Pooh attraction. Not to mention, of course, the millions of merchandise items and the 5,000 meet & greet opportunities...

And Bri, I no longer accept the "temporary" card from Disney. Mickey's Birthdayland was to be a temporary thing and we all know what happened then.

Wish I could, but Mickey's Birthdayland was temporary too, remember?
Word I got just last week from a good source is that a 100 Acre Wood area, featuring Pooh's house, Tigger's house, and maybe Eeyore's as well, would be opening in a year to 18 months or so.

Mind you, this is for just the area in front of the Pooh attraction, not the whole 20k area....there are other plans (two words: bad guys) still the frontrunner for that space.

It's not surprising that Pooh is getting all this...he is the #2 selling character brand that Disney has. #1 is Mickey, of course, and Stitch is #3.

LOL, honestly, I have no problem with Potter. A while back some user went nuts about Potter here and claimed it was going to happen, but with nothing to back it up. But you will be amazed at how many people here are against anything that has to do with Potter in Fantasyland. However, Potter vs. Pooh... that may be an interesting debate. However, it seems that the potter rumor isn't valid anyway, so I don't think it's even worth debating right now. If someone hears about Potter from a REAL source, then maybe it would be worth it to open up the subject for discussion then. But right now, nothing has proven that rumor. Disney doesn't even have the rights to Potter. The rumor just isn't valid.
