No. It is not necessary to be seated outside to view Illuminations. They have a roped off private area for their patrons. You simply get up from your table and walk to this area before the show.

Oh i know, i watched illuminations from there twice on my trip in july, great perk and great not to have to hold onto a spot! I would love to get the chance to sit outside though :sohappy:

I am not much for eating outside. The weather can be so iffy in Florida and I tend to like a little climate control when I am sitting down to eat.

Oh i agree, esp about the climate control! Coming from Ireland its not often we get 90degre plus heat
I dont think id like to eat outside anywhere else, plus if i get hot, theres plenty of tasty beverages inside :sohappy::ROFLOL::slurp:

I live in Florida and I still don't like it. Actually it is the humidity that makes it a killer. Air conditioning not only removes the heat but it lowers the humidity as well.

Oh i do like it, i tend to go to the world in the june-august time period as it suits us and we are not bothered by the crowds, plus we went for 3 weeks in july and our next trip will be 3 to 4 weeks and to go for that length of time the gfs dd needs to be off school! But anyway, i love the great weather, i miss it so much as its pretty much rained everyday since i got home

U are right though the humidity is rough, id probably keel over without the air con breaks of the shops and restaurants and if i didnt have it in my room i just wouldnt go end of!!

We ate there for lunch last week and also had an incredible time. The food was great (LOVE the meat & cheese tray!) and our server was a really sweet girl.

Her name was Kim and she was telling us how she just got an extension to continue working there and stay in the States until this Nov. I guess the international employees typically are only allowed to stay for a year, but she said she loves working there so much she doesn't want to go back home :)

I don't see the attraction of there tbh... maybe it's cause pub grub is "the norm" for me!

Its not just about the food and the restaurant! The bar is a great place to go and chill out and escape the heat of the world showcase!:slurp:
