Yeah, I totally understand. My family was spending so much money at the parks, we decided to splurg in passes. Now, we can go whenever we want and it's really, really helped us save money. Between relatives coming to Florida and wanting us to take them to one of th eparks and our own forrays there just for fun, the passes have saved us a ton of cash.

I havn't been to the Magic Kingdom in 14 years and I have never been to MgM. ALSO it has been 8 years since I went to Epcot and 3 years since AK.

I am now just 16 and we are going to WdW staying on Property for the first time, using a hopperpass for the first time and I can't wait!

*feels appreciated*

And dun worry too much about not going to WDW much. I saw MK once in my entire life before I started to work for Disney, and now I've been there god knows how many times.

electricity

Hi!

I was wondering how much electricity something like a centrifuge would need to run on an hourly basis with the ride capacity all of the M:S techies have been talking about. If it's a huge amount, then disney is not only putting up the money for the ride construction but for the actual running of the ride not to mention maintenance. See ya!!!!:slurp:

Yep, the original plans called for the shop to be on the left side. At the time, I thought it was going to be part of the main (large) building but after they put the front walls up, it became evident that such would not be the case. ;)

Sometimes, you're only seeing the tip of the iceberg, as it were. (There is usually a lot more than what you can see.)

You never know what the case may be with people. It could have been a young kid who doesn't understand rules of proper decorum. It could be a mentally-challenged person who has trouble with even more than that. Unless a person is totally disruptive, they've got a right to state their opinion. That said, Maelstrom Rocks (sorry, I can't miscapitalize on purpose) was being a tad too disruptive and inspired too much venom to keep things calm and is probably better off banished. I just hope that he/she learns from his/her mistakes and does better on their next try at socialization (wherever that may be).

As you may or may not know, Disney parks and resorts have their own power grids, and they make most of it, to my knowledge. You can buy a centrifuge that plugs into a regular wall outlet that spins at an incredible rate. Enough to seperate organellles in a cell so that you can see it. There's enough. Don't expect it to "blow a fuse" like your mom on her hairdryer when you're typing a message on the boards ;)

Funny, Epcot keeps having power failures... And the maintenance guys always ay "Ugh, they turned SPACE on again..."

Apparently the first major blowout was it's fault, but the smaller onces sicne then have been issues with the power company itself.
