hey Firebird,

what were the files you added that dissapeared? i've got a bit of a backlog on video files that need to be compressed - and the audio verification app i had on the server is bunk at the moment, so i have to manually verify things in the time being...

hope to be caught up with all the new uploads in a day or so...

The files that disappeared were the dragon, cake, carriage, snow white, carpets and star tours queue.

Most of them don't really matter unless anyone particularly wants to see them but the Dragon I know a lot of people are interested in and its quite a good recording.

Unfortunately I believe that Digital Disney and Digital Universal have been discontinued. I hope that I am wrong and it is just on hiatus but it is not looking good. This was one of my favorite sites and I was really looking forward to see it expand. Oh well maybe in the future it will be back.

I'll upload a low quality video of the JP ride sometime soon. I had some computer problems, and had to re install everything, and I didn't back up my videos. I'll make jurassic park the first one to re upload once everything is back up in working order.

Try turning off the lights on your video camera. It works for me.

I personally HATE real-media format and prefer DivX (almost lossless in most cases) and there is also a new quicktime codec that I am beta testing thats AMAZING...COMPLETE lossless quality and 50% compression (so far)...the only problem is the final product will not be free...

Hey, you are into DivX too? and by that i mean REAL divx, not the crap you can download from morpheus or kazaa. I'm an SBC guy, as far as encoding. it takes a LONG time, but it is worth it.
