I hope so. Though, read the thread....there are rumblings. Hopefully Glendale (Lassetter!) intervenes.

That is what I mean. No "intervening" will be necessary. This is all Glendale. I would be stunned if it gets scaled back and will admit at that point everything I have been saying is wrong. 100% wrong.

I'm not worried. :lookaroun

Hope you are right. I've heard otherwise, but it's a mixed bag.

For those interested in the high-resolution version of the concept art, I've posted it on Progress City:

I've been extremely interested, thanks so much!
Did anyone else notice thar there is a windmill an some other building on the other side of the Cinderella area.

:lookaroun:kiss:

I noticed that too, I think it's just going to be a store since it's labeled "MERCH" on the blue prints.

that building looks big.. but it will be sad if that ends up being a giant store (I wouldn't be surprised). If there's one thing PFF taught us at DL - when you have a lot of princesses together in one place, there's going to be a lot of merch to sell.. a lot. these are just some of the carts.

Well, consider that the building will contain the Cinderella show, whatever they're going to do with Pooh, and the Aurora show. I'm sure they'll also have some shops facing Mermaid, and probably some concessions area. And a DVC cart. Maybe that's what's in the windmill.

Thanks! :D Good analysis, too.
Thanx for posting those Michael.:)

The intriguing thing is what you are calling the Cindy "showbuilding", does not appear on the leaked plans. I wonder if there are still surprises in this project. The "showbuilding" looks awfully big for just a meet'n'greet.
I've heard very, very random things, and this could be it. I wish I knew more.

Beastlie?:lookaroun:lol:

At least, the very minimal "meat" of the expansion is safe, here. The M/G's will be nice thematically, and nice to look at, but killing them won't really help for capacity in the first place. Wes till have the ride, resturant, and the miniland, so that's good.

And Lee....You know I don't doubt your source...but would they really trim here? I kinda doubt that, seeing that this IS Glendale, and I have rumblings that this is full steam ahead, and very well received.

I agree. I just don't think they would trim from here. In the RADP Newsgroup CEO Boom(imagineer) mentioned that there was more in store for the expansion, if there's more, why would they cut from it?

Well, Lee said nothing major had been cut but there will be some "trims'' here and there. I think that is to be expected in a project this big.. So far at the DCA expansion we haven't seen anything major cut but there have been very minor trims in some areas. apparently the funds get directed towards the bigger attractions and then they cut anything that is seen as a minor addition (at DCA- the models+art promised updates to Screamin's queue, new carousel top, etc, but those are now delayed indefinitely). personally I don't mind, I like seeing the money go towards the big-budget attractions instead.

And if they are cutting, why would they release a revised concept art pretty much confirming that whatever's on it will be featured in the expansion?

concept art doesn't confirm anything, it's just an artist's interpretation of what the land will look like. the final product will probably be very similar but will have some changes here and there

Not building one thing, but building something else.

...Much more plausible.:lol::D

Notice on the revised art that Pixie Hollow is still pretty much the same as it was in old concept art. Could this mean that what's more detailed is more definite and WILL happen. Maybe they are still debating on what to have on Phase 2.

I get what you mean sponono88 and EPCOT Explorer.

EXACTLY.:D

If cutting is in favor of a smaller expansion on this one, I am for it.

I hope so, I'd much rather have something other than Pixie Hollow.

So what you mean to say is that if they would cut Hollow from the expansion it wouldn't matter? Sorry, I am for some reason not using the ol' noggin today.:brick:

@wdwfan94, I agree, DL can keep Hollow, I'd rather have some Wonderland or something else.
