The launch into Imotep's mouth and the "coaster" portion that follows isn't exactly "Family Friendly".
True. But, it isn't a very intense layout. Not that they could make it a mind-boggling roller coaster, because there were a lot of restrictions. And I'm glad they didn't. The launch doesn't feel forceful at all (maybe that's just me), but the pop of airtime at the crest of the hill is awesome. The layout just consists of banked turns, which isn't really that intense. Except there is one moment (right before the trick unload) where it jerks you out of your seat pretty good. I've never noticed it before my last two rides, but it was a very fun moment of the coaster layout. It's like it banks one way, then banks the other way. And on a short amount of track.

Personally, I find Space Mountain to be much more intense than Mummy. But that's probably because Space Mountain feels like it's about to fall to pieces and the cars are so small, making for a much more intimate experience.

Space Mountain isn't that intense besides the jerkiness.

Mummy isn't even that intense. I'd say that the only "intense" part is the drop after the faux unloading area.
I agree. It's hardly intense at all. More fun than anything.

Rock N Roller coaster is far more intense(of course you go upside down and it's more rough)

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster's launch into two inversions is probably the most intense thing you'll find at Walt Disney World. Very fun ride. And one of the best, if I might add.

space mountain needs a massive refurb so it's like Space Mountain in Paris but 30% less intense since it's Magic Kingdom, it just needs to be smooth.

Nope. SM in Paris is nothing like the other versions. It'd be deceiving to call it the same name to US visitors.

Primeval Whirl is smooth in comparison. And I especially like how they duct taped speakers to the superstructure to "replicate" Disneyland's onboard Stareophonic sound. It's dark, no one will notice, right?

Nah. Disneyland got a decent version of Soundtracker. WDW got the afterthought, locally sourced poor mans alternative. One that despite actually advertising, is barely maintained and WDI attempt constantly to shut the music off since its so poor.

Don't get me started on that "refurb"!

That's what I was saying, Disneyland's on-board sound is great. WDW's speakers duct taped to the coaster's superstructure, not so much.
