Day 2 Epcot cont:
We have met Belle and she was very welcoming we were invited to dinner. On day two I decided it's time to kick this TR up a notch with some food pics. Much to the chagrin of Katie. I was told
"Don't take pics of food. Seriously your taking pictures of food. Are you putting this in the internet?" I didn't take many because most all our meals were quick serve I didn't feel the need to show hamburgers all the time. However, by the end of vacation I was being asked if I got a picture of this or that.
So here is my salad with turkey. Unlike last trip this time I stretched my taste buds and tried smoked salmon, some sort of funky cheese and fish with the skin still attached. I guess I need to work on menu details. I figured might as well figure out what I like on the buffet then pay for it and not like it somewhere else. I was the only one brave enough to try something new.
I've had salmon but not official Norwegian smoked salmon.

Heather ordered a light up cocktail which prompted calls for the glowing ice cube in the kids drinks.

I think nothing has changed since our last visit. Looks the same to me.

I wish a PhotoPass would just follow the princesses around our pictures of these encounter are horrible. I must have turned off the flash maybe. I would think the auto setting would fire the flash in this case.

I did not notice this folly in the moment. I was taking video and Katie was taking pictures. Not her fault just the camera was on the wrong setting. I must not have it in full auto.

Allison joined this princess conga line and paraded around the restaurant. Very unusual for our backward child. She gets that part of her personality from me.

I do have video of all the interactions so enjoy.
Time to eat. Remembering my mistake last time I did not order fish I wanted something heavier. Mmm braised pork shank

I thought my meal was nice. Nothing memorable but a good entree. I do not remember what Heather ordered but she was not pleased. I tasted it and it tasted fine to me but I could see where it did have a different flavor then what you would expect. Our waitress accommodated with no hesitation and brought her the pork also.
On this trip I decided I was going to try to immerse myself in the culture of the host nations. I wanted to know how to say our servers name. So Ingabjorge taught me how to pronounce it and it was a fun interaction. Ingabjorge ( Inn gah Bee your g) was a great server. If anybody knows her tell her I said thanks. Noob mistake not stopping at guest services to thank cast members.
Heather gets her new meal and this piece of pork was very fatty. It was a let down and a sore spot for the rest of the trip. I tried to alleviate the situation by explaining the fact that you are paying for princess access and not so much the food. That is not something I should have to try to explain.
What does $12 get you in a fancy drink? About one 1 shot of rum and a few splashes of liqueurs

Hate to cut this short but we are dealing with a kitchen emergency. Found a water leak and it went unnoticed for a while. Makes fatty pork seem like a good problem compared to this mess.
