“We need to make the D23 Gold rubes feel special, get some money out of them, and doesn’t cost us much. What can we do which accomplishes that?”
? You don't see the irony in charging D23 members to get access to a ride that's a duplicate of one in DLP? I'm not outraged. I'm amused -- especially at the announcement at the beginning of this thread.People just like to be outraged
$75 is cheaper than a ticket to france lol. I’m not bothered by it, it’s not taking anything away from day guests, so I’m not stressing over it. It exists for people that want to go and if you don’t want to go it won’t make any difference to you.? $75 per person (plus $7 processing fee). Tickets will go on sale on Friday, August 13, 2021, at 10 a.m. PST / 1 p.m. EST
"Find your inspiration and say “bonjour” to EPCOT’s nouveau expansion with D23: The Official Disney Fan Club. Our morning will begin as guests are welcomed with a commemorative credential and board a motorcoach from the EPCOT parking lot before you are whisked away to the beauty and charm of the France pavilion.
Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a morning refreshment before gathering in the gorgeous Palais du Cinema (home of Impressions de France) for a special presentation featuring some of the creative minds behind the EPCOT’s newest attraction. From sketch to reality, you’ll hear how Walt Disney Imagineering brought this Remy-sized adventure to life in a big way.
Next, D23 Gold Members will be welcomed to the newly expanded portion of the France pavilion, where they’ll be able to taste a few of the new offerings at La Crêperie de Paris and be among the first to experience Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure!
In this 4D ride experience, you’ll join Chef Remy on a daring culinary caper that will captivate all your senses as you zip, dash, and scurry through the bustling kitchen, dining room, and walls of Gusteau’s famous Paris restaurant.
Of course, the morning will also include a commemorative gift. C’est magnifique!"
...but only because they're intentionally delaying the opening of the ride.I’m not bothered by it, it’s not taking anything away from day guests, so I’m not stressing over it.
I’m more mad about Canada: Far & Wide being opened then removed than a ride not being opened before it’s grand opening date....but only because they're intentionally delaying the opening of the ride.

Crepes des Chefs de France removed from World Showcase promenade ahead of the new La Crêperie de Paris
More dining options will be added to the France pavilion with the opening of Remy's Ratatouille Adventure on October 1.www.wdwmagic.com
This is actually good in my opinion. Lets get unnecessary clutter off of the promenade. And we still get to buy crepes too!
Edit: Hopefully it stays this way and they don't put something in its place.
I expect it to be open for the cast and AP previewsEarly opening of La Creperie?
Seems odd to close a relatively popular kiosk months ahead.
Is it going to be a QS or TS? It would seem odd to have a TS for AP and Cast previews.I expect it to be open for the cast and AP previews
It’s going to at least be open on 9/4 and 9/5 for the D23 event. Would imagine they’d keep it open past that too.I expect it to be open for the cast and AP previews
I believe it is both. Table service inside and the walk up window outside for quick service. Is it going to be a QS or TS? It would seem odd to have a TS for AP and Cast previews.
