Removal of Main Street Christmas Wreaths Due to New Parade

Disneyland decorated for Halloween and decorated well for Halloween before the introduction of a holiday party. They also had the holiday fireworks show prior to the party. The only thing the party brought was meet and greets the cavalcade and themed lighting. Once Disneyland decides to bring in a replacement for A Christmas Fantasy Parade I can guarantee you that the Christmas holiday party will be introduced.

Seriously? I had NO idea that Disneyland didn't do a holiday party.. cray-cray!

New garland will be installed Tuesday after park closing. They will be running the FOF floats throughout installation to check heights.

You're right. DAWM one half day, CTS the other half day.

I wish it was this year but maybe next year MK will get a new tree like DL has.

Not everyone is trained on both shows. Or parades. So if you're going to do one you may as well do two. Isn't there more overall castle shows those days too? Ie two shifts?

After MVMCP, I believe DAWM & CTS has 4-5 shows EACH! However that may change this year. Since A Frozen Holiday Wish is twice a night on non-party nights, I would think MK would do it at least that often after MVMCP.

Looks Wonderful! But, I'm confused. Is this in addition to the new Garland? Or, is this the New Garland? I wasn't expecting other new things on Main Street.(Unless I missed something on here.)

That is the replacement for what was previously strung across the street.

Well, I'm gonna miss the old look, but considering I thought we'd be left with no wreaths at all I like it! In some ways it actually seems more fitting with the upperscale Victorian downtown that Main Street in WDW is supposed to be.

Having only seen the photos, I think it looks great! Excellent way to accomodate the parade floats and still look very festive. Finally a change that I like. LOL

Well, I'm gonna miss the old look, but considering I thought we'd be left with no wreaths at all I like it! In some ways it actually seems more fitting with the upperscale Victorian downtown that Main Street in WDW is supposed to be.

I'll say it.... i never liked the garland going across the street. I always hated how it obstructed the view of the castle when you make the turn and start walking down Main Street.

The clearance for the floats was worked out before they designed, built and installed them.

I really like the new wreaths. It reminds me of some older Main Streets in small towns across the U.S. These will make for some great pictures at night
