I didn't realize Gadget's was getting a re-theme, regarding the Micechat update. Since they demolished the treehouse, I wonder if it's going to be re-themed to Chip n Dale's coaster? That would be the cheapest and easiest route at least...

I thought they were doing something Ducktales related?

Really hoping roger gets some love, the ride portions will seem outdated compared to MMRR… but it already felt outdated before MMRR was coming so-

At least Roger has physical sets and props as opposed to just screens everywhere.

Considering that show wrapped production... back in 2020, I think, it'd be kind of weird to do a retheme of Gadget based on that. Maybe they could just make it a general Scrooge McDuck coaster?

It looks like they are no further along to building the big fancy tree or the new fountain than they were in April or May, which I believe was when we last saw aerial pics of the land being overhauled. It's all still just bare dirt at this point.

I love the ride portion, its the queue that bugs me. You can still see the fog machines below the walkway in the DIP room, yet they haven't worked in over a decade.

One of our clients is working with Disney on a commercial for new Toontown. Not sure when they are shooting though.

So @mharrington have no fear. Also, hopefully this means an early 2023 opening is still accurate.

Maybe this is the wrong spot to share this, but after learning that Gadget's was getting re-themed (or at least spruced up according to Micechat), I decided to buy the game Parkitect and build what I would want the the new theme for the coaster to be. Here's the idea that will never happen in a million years- a coaster themed to the little Mary Blair train sequence in The Three Caballeros (with elements from Blame it on the Samba mixed in). Definitely going for a flat pop-up book style here.

Guests would enter thru the big menu from the beginning of Blame it on the Samba, and pass by a large replica of Donald's birthday presents that start the Three Caballeros film. You could even see a vignette of Pablo the Penguin as he thaws from being frozen in a block of ice. The coaster station would be re-themed to the Bahia train station and would be placed on a giant book, as if it were a page from a popup book. The rest is self explanatory- the coaster would dive around fun technicolor tropical plants that would be illuminated at night (think Avatar land but more whimsical). The Aracuan bird would get his own figure near the tunnel dive section. He could be holding a giant pencil and it would look like he drew train tracks that split off from our current path in every which way. Finally, the end helix would loop around the Aracuan Bird mid-dive into a large colorful cocktail, with fun crazy straws pointing down and spraying water at the trains. I had fun making this thing as a little creative exercise; but now I'm sad knowing they'll never do anything like this!

This is the cutest thing I have ever seen. Incredible work!

This is amazing. I am a huge fan of that sequence in Three Caballeros.

Does that mean they will rebuild Indiana Jones to be less insensitive to people from India?
