There will never be another Bob HoskinsI’m hoping we never see a Roger Rabbit sequel. It would most likely be a terrible straight to Disney + movie. Not to mention Bob Hoskins is gone.

I know you keep hoping and trying to wish it into existence, but its not likely to happen.Hopefully D23 2022 or in the future we will hear the news about a Roger Rabbit sequel coming to the theaters soon,
as new Roger Rabbit attractions coming to Disney parks soon. I think Rick Flint from Roger Rabbit comics could be good replacing Eddie Valiant for the sequel. Also the sequel will take place in five years after the first film takes place in 1947.
Yeah thanks alot, dude. Now I'll have to think about a sequel to Who Framed Roger Rabbit will happen in the future.I know you keep hoping and trying to wish it into existence, but its not likely to happen.
Guessing it had something to do with the 4k Blu-ray release that came out around then. Considering that many other major Touchstone movies like Three Men and a Baby and Splash haven't gotten standard Blu-ray releases, I guess it shows that Disney still cares about the IP somewhat? This was basically the collection that Cakeworthy released not even a year ago. This stuff was also all on Unique Vintage. Cakeworthy, Unique Vintage, and Hot Topic have all had a bunch of Roger Merch in the last 9 months.

I don't think any new Roger Rabbit content will be coming out of Disney any time soon, not even a sequel. The Chip and Dale movie is likely the closest you're gonna get to any new Roger content.Yeah thanks alot, dude. Are they even releasing old titles on Blu-Ray at this point?Guessing it had something to do with the 4k Blu-ray release that came out around then. *sadface* Spielberg would have a word with ya, sir. Even his contract needs more attention to Roger Rabbit content in the future.I don't think any new Roger Rabbit content will be coming out of Disney any time soon, not even a sequel. And Roger as a character is still relatively popular. His social media hashtags are fairly active.Guessing it had something to do with the 4k Blu-ray release that came out around then. Not sure what that even means.*sadface* Spielberg would have a word with ya, sir. Even his contract needs more attention to Roger Rabbit content in the future.
I don't think Disney does anymore outside of exclusive titles for the Movie Club every so often and some of the more important movies that got new scans for Disney+ for the niche 4k market. Are they even releasing old titles on Blu-Ray at this point?
Like I said, the Chip and Dale movie tried desperately to be Roger Rabbit but didn't understand what made Roger Rabbit work. Chances are a Roger Rabbit sequel made by modern Disney would be exactly the same.
They've demonstrated with Rescue Rangers that they are incapable. The way they hid Jessica's body (removing her from the trunk, fine, body shaming her, No) shows that they do not understand the property.I disagree only for the fact that if it were to happen any Roger Rabbit content won't be produced by Disney only. It would have been produced with Amblin and Imagemovers also.
I still don't think it'll happen any time soon, but if it were I think it would have a good chance at being good.
