I wouldn’t say “inside joke” would be the right classificationIs there some marni newsletter that I'm not subscribed to? I feel like this is an inside joke I've been left out of.

,Real talk here. What kind of barbecue? Because Memphis, Carolina and St Louis are all crap compared to Kansas City barbecue.
Depend on which way the winds blow, I rather not smell BBQ smoke while listening to Voices of Liberty’s or during the American Adventure.
I don't remember ever smelling smoke or any cooking food odor at WDW. Not even when ordering at Flame Tree BBQ, they smoke all their meats in their kitchen. There’s been a smoker outside AA for a large part of the year for several years now. It hasn’t been a problem yet.
If you're referring to the "domestic trash" brewed by the foreign conglomerates like InBev and Molson, I heartily agree!Wow!! What a truly amazing idea! I'm so glad its going to be craft beer too and not the typical domestic trash, though I'm sure they'll have that for the basics. Really looking forward to hearing more about this place!
I'm on-board! But only if Mr. Furley, Larry, Jack, Chrissy and Janet all show up!
I don't dislike this idea.
I have actually never set foot in the Liberty Inn.
Yep seems a good move. The Liberty Inn always seemed to be just a generic quick service. With this concept it can actually be something worthwhile going to. Will be interesting to see what the food is like of course!

Yeah. There’s no joking around here.I wouldn’t say “inside joke” would be the right classification
Oy - Couldn’t agree more. A smokehouse bbq is a quintessential representation of America - as is craft beer. But choosing to call it the regal anything annoys the crap out of me. The whole point of America was to guarantee personal freedoms and throw off the shackles of a monarchy. And having the name resemble the pick up joint from Three’s Company is just a little extra kicker . Suggest a name reboot. Some options:Love the concept. Hate the name. Not for nothing, but "regal" is the literal opposite of the point made in the attraction. Does nobody at WDI think these things through?
2 years is kind of SOP for TWDC...Hey, they changed the name of king Stefan’s feast about 15 years ago...did anybody claim credit for that yet?
We need a “fresh by” date on things round here
Liberty Inn was a fantastic oasis after walking to the back of the park.
RIP Liberty Inn.
The Barbecue concept could be an upgrade. The smokehouse atmosphere will defiantly hamper that cool AC that Liberty Inn used to provide. That makes it a bit more oppressive.

It’s also a redo of a horribly old crapeteria that nobody went to and is over staffed. I remember hearing the suggestion of a bar circa 20012 years is kind of SOP for TWDC...
It doesn’t even make sense...Like they asked first graders to pick a name in altamonte springs or something? The irony of announcing "Regal Eagle" the week before Independence Day is also lost on TDC, apparently.

...people is dumm now and don’t know historyWow! So, Rapunzel is still a blonde, Beast is still hairy, and the American colonies have yet to separate from the United Kingdom... which is kind of funny, but if you think about it, we were British Colonies longer that the United States. And the pavilion is called "The American Adventure" not the "United States of America." That means we can include everyone living here after 1492 at least! lol!
