Reflections of Earth improvements including new lasers

Could they not install the fountains permanently (Like WOC/Fantasmic) and have them raise up?
That would be a MASSIVE project that would involve draining World Showcase Lagoon, installing a concrete base, filtering systems, and a whole manner of other crazy things. I honestly don't think they need to. Build barges! Put the fountains on there.

Saw the show last night. No lasers for the first half of the show then Mexico and 1 of the islands started working but not all of them. Really sucked after telling my friends who are in town for the races this week how awesome the new lasers are and then they didn't totally work. 3 shows in a row that there has been something not working. I am just having bad luck right now.

Ugh. Sorry to hear that. Perhaps a plane was in the way... I really wish they could get the lasers or the regulations to ensure that a consistent show would happen every night.
Remember they also serve as the launch platforms for the fireworks. They need to be able to be moved offstage for reloading. There will always be some amount of hardware visible on stage due to that.
Unless they were to totally drain WS Lagoon... and nah, I'm fine with some hardware out on the lagoon. :)

Yes yes, but are they significantly larger because they are playing double duty??

I think they're larger because they're so old. Those are the original barges from 1988 (Maxi barges, right?)

I'm sure that newer tech would have them be a lot smaller. The ones that Universal uses in their lagoon show are still pretty big, but they are lower to the water.

Those are for water screens and a few lights not including firework launch positions.

Exactly my point. They can do a bit more with less space.
Those barges my friend are houseing for generators, computors and serve as a bunker for the alcazar members. They serve their purpose and not to mention the size makes it easy to get around the barge and fix things as needed and abandon ship and jump in the water if needed. If anything goes out they have all the access they need to fix the issue during the show. What they can do is remove that stupid extenchion of the front wall since they don't have the water images any more, that would cut off a couple of feet. I have a picture of where they were shorter somewhere, I will have to post it.

My point was that all of that is 15 years old and technology has most likely improved and gotten smaller in the passing years.

In any case- any new vids of ROE? Any new or more consistent laser effects? :)

Oh... I would love to see them strip down those barges and refurbish them. The fountains have been looking better but it's time for a refurbishment. Here they are in their origional state, I have learned that the firework defy isn't fully connected. Now that the laser images are gone I would love to see them remove those extenchions panels on the front front wall.

Yeah, I'm curious how they'd do that. Pull one and change the configuration of the remaining three from the NW SW NE SE lineup?
They could get away with pulling one at a time and not changing the others.

All effects bar one lighting cue are visible using three.

Of course it'd depend on how quick any work could be done. Assuming any does happen of course.

Well, hope it happens.

What's the one lighting cue? The rainbow strobes before 'Meaning'?
