Can’t wait for the average guests reactions, who Disney caters to and a large percentage only speak and understand English,. I get why Disney is doing this and in theory Epcot Should have a multi language show, or better yet instrumental only (Reflections Of Earth), however that doesn’t mean it will be well accepted.

It’s true that certain type of Americans are adamant about the whole “tHiS iS aMeRiCa, We sPeAk EnGLiSh HeRe” ideology (there’s more to be said on that), but I think most folks get the gist of Epcot being a permanent world fair of international culture when they travel around the “World” Showcase Lagoon.

I doubt there will be much backlash, if any any at all.

If anything, the use of multiple languages is the one thing this show actually has going for itself. From what we've seen/heard the show is literally going to be HEA 2.0 so anything that remotely ties it to World Showcase is appreciated, even if it's poorly justified.

I've also seen a lot of debate from people on here about whether or not the average guest would care if all nighttime spectacular were pretty much the same in each park. If they want to go down the mishmash of Disney songs route, guests will eat it up regardless. In this case, however, the selection of music was poorly thought out. How Far I'll Go and Go the Distance are already in HEA. It may only be two songs (so far) so it's not really a big deal, but they have an entire catalog of music to choose from and the fact that they're reusing songs at all is just kind of laughable. Especially when those two tracks in particular feel the most out of place considering the theme of the show (in my opinion). Save the typical Disney hero inspirational music for Magic Kingdom.

Maybe I'm a bit literal in my selection, but for an IP-based show in World Showcase I'd love if the music was less broad and better linked to specific locations around the lagoon. Bells of Notre Dame for France, Bella Notte for Italy, etc. I could even see them shoehorning in "Underneath the Lovely London Sky" and I'd honestly be ok with that.

I agree the song choice should be what fits each WS country. I was thinking “Trip A Little Light Fantastic”. A lot of good songs they could pick. I hope for a original song or two though.

Maybe it’s wishful thinking on my part that the show will end with a original song and not that lol. But I guess it could be like HEA which ends with Go The Distance followed by a original song.

When it comes to multiple movie tie-ins, I’m expecting that we’ll know how far this will go, maybe it will go the distance. But maybe they need to let it go, instead.
