My guess is high wind and rain testing, since perimeters are weather specific. The high blasts look to compensate.
It looks great and all but Harm should be able to Perim. in the center of WSL if it;s not too windy, ROE did that.

Those red rapid flares at the start, the ones that resemble an aircraft ejecting multiple anti-missile flares. Does anyone know if they're coming from one of the 'arms' on one of the barges? The angles make me think so as they must be being launched above ground level and they appear to be travelling much more horizontally than vertically?
The perimeters have quite the range.

Yeah I’m wondering that to. Although I don’t think the majority of guests will be angry lol. If anything these tests will make guests want to book rooms in the nearby hotels.
Based on the last two testings their schedule seems to be around 11:45 and wraps up shortly after midnight. How often this will happen and which days who knows.
If they announce it to resorts they will effectively be promoting a firework show and will have subsequent crowds gathered to watch it. Which is something they don't currently want.

And probably the testing schedule will switch up on purpose. If they start testing every night or on the same days word will get out and people will start planning and gathering.

There was a sign up at BC yesterday - something about as they continue to bring experiences back, there may be noises from 10:30-midnight.
There won’t be nightly testing.
Good that they did that. It's a little vague so it wouldn't attract Streamers if TDO doesn't want them right now.... A few tests we did hear about early during COVID, There were Streamers.
I just remember TDO got a lot of flack when they tested HEA at the wrong time before it opened. TDO doesn't need anymore flack! LOL!
