I agree. I suspect at least part of the 13,000 jobs could be just ramping up post Covid. I have no facts to support that but it seems like they aren’t quite back to pre-Covid levels to me at WDW. I know that TWDC in total was down over 30,000 CMs in 2022 compared to 2019 but that’s all aspects of the company not just WDW.I personally think the 13,000 employees figure is more insightful than the $17 billion figure.
Anyone know how many cast members WDW had in 2013?
The Epic Universe project including hotels and additional transportation employees is apparently 14,000 new Universal employees.
Based on a quick google search I found this from 2016 which claimed WDW had 62,000 CMs ~ which is about 13,000 less than today.
