Why should they bother? Only 300 people are watching, and these meetings are not widely reported on.Is Disney allowed to stand up for themselves at these meetings?

Rick Singh Orange County tax appraiser according to courts inflated Disney property values and got crushed . Disney won.The claim is that their properties are being appraised artificially low. Meanwhile, Disney is suing Orange County, claiming that their properties are being appraised artificially high.
300 here as there are other fan sites and a few political junkies watchingAnd 314 of the 315 are probably on here.
And most of those are probably Disney lawyersWhy should they bother? Only 300 people are watching, and these meetings are not widely reported on.
If free food , drink and character meet and greet were offered more perhaps would attend the meeting. Why should they bother? Only 300 people are watching, and these meetings are not widely reported on.
I'm sure they're recording it, no need for more than a few to watch it liveAnd most of those are probably Disney lawyers
And that's what I've been getting at when I've described this as "bad policy, but good politics."And 314 of the 315 are probably on here.
It says 'initial period'. Not maximum. What's the rebuttal to this slide he's showing that says RCID had a 30 year expiration?
(Asking sincerely.)
Was it renewed after the initial period? It says 'initial period'. Not maximum.
It is absolutely impossible to discuss political topics without being political. Being political is not being inflammatory. It is difficult but not impossible to discuss current political topics without being political.
You just have to stick to the facts and try to resist name calling or stereotyping about those the topics are about.
I don't think it has to be. It just sets up that it can't be taken away for a minimum of 30 years. I'd have to see the rest of the document to see what else it says. Was it renewed after the initial period?
It’s a lie. It’s not in the original charter. It’s also not in the 2004 legislative report. Or the Supreme Court decision. What's the rebuttal to this slide he's showing that says RCID had a 30 year expiration?

Even if regular people care, they probably aren’t going to watch a district board meeting that’s held at 10am on a work day.And that's what I've been getting at when I've described this as "bad policy, but good politics."
Primary voters see "Ron is going after Disney, and we don't like Disney." Disney fanatics see "what the heck is going on, this is insane." Regular people don't even notice any of it.
