This board is something else. When DJT boasted about lowering his tax bill, it was lauded as masterful by this party, but when Disney lowers its taxes it’s shameful?
The Comprehensive Plan has maps of land suitability. There are various plots but they’re not owned by the District. The District’s lands are mostly conservation wetlands that would be expensive to build on.Serious question: Just where is there land for housing? Do they think they can plow under AK to put up said housing?

I have not challenged. In regards to my property, my property taxes have been the same more or less $200 since 1994 and my home value increased 4x from the price I bought it (1994) when it took 4 months for my residence to be built to my specifications. If I had to rewind, I would have bought 5 more lots , had the the homes built from ground up and rented them out for the last 29 years.Omg… disney did as every resident is allowed to do. Challenge the property assessor.

That you haven’t challenged them means what? Every property owner is allowed to challenge them. And in Florida you have to pay before you can challenge. And since values get carried over you have to keep filing suits as the clock moves forward but the case isn’t settled so one dispute becomes multiple suits for each year.I have not challenged. Found the 20-21 fye for orange county. 1,308.7(million) total Property (ad valorem), gasoline, resort, and franchise taxes, to give you an idea.Lol… what fearmongering. Schools are going to be crushed because disney is challenging property values.
