I’m baffled at how DeSantis thinks what Disney did was criminal.

He knows there's nothing criminal to investigate but he's desperate to appear like he's still got his grip on this mess so he can keep fighting "woke" ideals like that pesky 1st Amendment. He doesn't care about wasting taxpayer money if it will help his chances at getting that promotion he's eyeing, but he's too clueless to realize that he dug his hole too deep.

We go from around $26MM/year on roads in FY22/23 and FY23/24, to $156MM/year in FY26/27.

That's a 500% increase in road spending.

Here are the projects. Why spend $250MM to widen Western Way? What's Disney get out of that?

The Governor is now requesting an investigation into the former Reedy Creek Improvement District.

This is a way to show he's "doing something" without stepping in it any further. Perhaps an attempt to quiet the narrative that he and the new board got rolled. Might end up something along the lines of the Durham probe, but if he's asking someone else to look into it, I think the message is that he wants to move on.

The Western Way Widening will be like this section. It's interesting that it says "Flyover" for the Buena Vista Dr end. I assume this is going to be a intersection like the one at the upper right corner connection World Drive and Epcot Center Drive.

Frankly, for as well as Disney does with accessibility, they frankly suck at building accessible hotel rooms. They know full and well that they see more people with different needs than a typical hotel but they continue to only build the code required minimum.

Ever hear the term Napoleon complex? Ron is a little guy constantly pushing the big guys to feel better about himself.
