So where's your actual Red Cars? We've got the sign too, and our Red Cars are now under construction and open May, 2012. You've had the sign since 1989, but where's your trolley system? :p

The phrase "put up or shut up" comes to mind.

Just kidding with our Floridian friends! :D

.
We want them badly, can you tell?

Are the trolley's going to travel around the whole park?

No, not the whole park. The trolleys will travel from the main entrance (buena vista st.) and will make stops along the way until it reaches the tower of terror (hollywood land).

another picture from Darkbeer, better quality:

notice the small sign on the trolley reads -
Hollywood
Tower Hotel
Buena Vista St.

Thats still cool but how cool would it be if they could make it loop the park and go through a tunnel to drop you off in DL as well.

Walls now span the whole Hollywood Blvd. It looks like the first set that went up were for a quick expansion of the side walk in front of Playhouse Disney.

Wow...those are some awesome construction walls. Hopefully that's the same kind of theming we'll see when they come down.

I can't believe I just typed that first sentence in all sincerity.

I'm not sure if we have a thread on Buena Vista St., so for now I am posting these here. They are screenshots posted by MiceChat poster simba

As a complete early 20th-c. America geek, I am loving this idea.

I read somewhere else that the DCA Partners statue will be situated across from the one on Main St. (with the esplanade in between, obviously), sort of symbolizing both ends of Walt's career at opposite sides of the DL resort.

The new entrance is going to be spectacular. Love the new Partners Statue. Such symbolism.

Each park should really have a unique statue of Walt, somewhere.

They almost already have one in DHS, and EPCOT's could be of him in front of the original EC Model.

A few rumors, I'v gathered from various boards so take with some salt:cool:

-The new parade gate will be East of Tower(the one thats behind walls right now) and the walls in the tower courtyard is to widen the street so the floats can make the right turn. Although the final parade route for DCA seems to constantly changing as the projects get under heavier construction.

-Towers Fastpass is to be taken out in spring to become a Red Car station(it already looks like a station too)
