I wish they would come back out even just for specials like Not So Scary.

Rare characters....i had the thrill of coming across Marie ( from the Aristocats) in Franch at EPCOT 2 weeks ago. She was absolutely adorable, very proper, and seemed thrilled i knew who she was. I told her she looked fantastic and well groomed..and she proceeded to 'blush' and then brush/primp her fur.

Brer Rabbit was greeting Guests outside the main gate of DAK when i last visited 2 weeks ago as well...he was with Brer Bear and Meeko, and all of them were saying hello to folks via the 'Namaste' hand gesture greeting ( plams together, slight bow forward). It was neat to see them do this!

The other rare characters i came across was Thumpers' girlfriend. 'Blossom' is her name..i think. She was a sweetheart.

Other character i miss seeing, and can definately be added to the 'Rare Characters' list-

Horace Horsecollar ( i miss him!!)
Clarabel Cow
Philotetes ( satyr trainer of Hercules)
Dodger ( from Oliver and Company)
The Gummi Bears ( i know why they are scarce, so understandable..)
Roger Rabbit ( HE IS MISSED IN FL!!)
Abu ( awesome to see he is BACK in the current MK parade!)
Figment ( aka 'Figzilla'...officially retired)
Chip's girlfriend ( sorry..forget her name!)
Princess Atta
Terk ( for M n' G's..)

Hope you like it! and if you (or anyone else) has suggestions please let us know :) Still have a lot of stuff left to do but if you look at Mickey's page you can see where we are trying to go for all characters :)

There are a lot of characters that are very rare/non-existent in the US but can be found fairly regularly in DLP at least.

All the princes (you can find them in parades in the US but they are actually out for meet and greets in Paris)
Most Robin Hood characters (the exceptions being Maid Marion and Little John)
Various Villains (Jafar, Frollo, Gaston, sometimes Maleficent, Gideon)
Launchpad
Clarice (Chip and Dale's love interest)
Scrooge
Remy and Emile

and some that are rare in DLP but are findable

Chicken Little and Abby Mallard
Country Bears (which is strange since DLP doesn't have the attraction and never did LOL)
7 Dwarfs

Mrs Incredible was out regularly in California Adventure this summer at least
Brer Rabbit and Brer Bear are out somewhat regularly in AK but Drew said they would soon be more rare... I was VERY happy to meet them Christmas 2008

Mrs Incredible is a regular at DHS. Jafar is a regular at Fant! sets.

Daisy now makes regular appearances at the Sorcerer Hat as well as Town Square. Appearances are intermittent, so good timing is required.

Drew81 - thanks for letting me know Terk is still appearing! I missed seeing him and feared the worst!

Other characters i would add would be ....

Jake from 'The Rescuers Down Under'. I was told by a Ex-CM their is a huge book backstage showing all the characters through the years. Think of the ultimate 'Character Photo Book'..! 'Jake' was shown and it was the first time i ever heard of him exsisting. I was told he only ever appeared at a special film premiere event back in the day....man i would love to see what he looked like!

How about Kermit and Miss Piggy? They used to visit regularly at HS many years ago...and then dissapeared. I would think Disney would have them out and about again what with the recent Muppet Promotion

Kuzco would definately be awesome to see out again. He really has a serious fan following these days.

Disney should do a 'Nostalgic Night' or something.....like a MNSSHP, but with all the old Retro characters out for the night. Rock!!!

Oh, and apologies to Terk for calling her a guy....i have never been able to shake that assumption. Since 'Tarzan' first saw release i have always related to the character and a guy for some odd reason....
