Sorry if I'm beating a dead horse but Animal Kingdom's message is just so in tact and the park is so beautiful right now I hope they don't dilute it with Zootopia. The park is the modern version of EPCOT Center in terms of it being true to it's original vision... I just don't want them to make the same mistakes.

Zootopia won’t come to any US parks anytime in the foreseeable future. Corporate is afraid of the fan base.
From the Disneyland board
That's not true. DHS has plenty of expansion areas.(Would work great at DHS, but no expansion plots)
Let alone the fan base, it will never come to the US for the same reasons that Get Out will never come to Horror Nights: It's Far too politically charged. So, what you end up with is the combined factors of a niche fan base and politics (let alone meh merch sales), a sizable Zootopia presence is a non-starter.
A Zootopia area would work much better at DHS than AK.It's not in Orlando. That's for a reason.
Makes sense in China - it's the highest grossing animated film of all time in China. No clear desire to bring it over to Orlando.
But I thought some forum members said it would never happen anywhere? Why would China have any incentive to add it if it adds nothing?

Oh I can't wait to see how that post ages. Also from the Disneyland side of the forum:
