I normally wouldn't post eBay links here (sorry if I just created some competition for anyone who found this on their own...it aggravates me when people post links here to auctions I'm watching and suddenly the price skyrockets, but I think this is a little different, given the potential cost).

Certainly out of my price range too, but anyone else suprised that the bidding is only at $160? That's not even double the price of shipping! I fully expected at LEAST a couple hundred for those.

If I had the money, and knew they wouldn't just sit in my garage while I said "One day I'll learn how to fix them...", I'd be all over these.

Wow great find, shame the condition they are in, the would go for so much more if they were in a great condition. I think they are going to go for a few thousand though!:cry:

Thanks for the "Nightmare Fuel" link! I never knew there was an "official" term for it - it explains so much of what has haunted me all my life (giant alligators in the sewers and in swimming pools from "Alligator"; "E.T.", etc.!) - Reading this link makes me feel a little better, kinda like it's "OK"! :lol:

does anyone else find those pictures a little "heartbreaking".....for lack of a better word. To see something that was such a big part of family vacations and still such a vivid memory of the summers you spent with your brothers, and then see that??

I guess in my world, Figment would always be forever in his glory singing Immaaaaaaaaaaagination.
