I'm totally opposed to this. PR is part of the US and will soon become a state. This only serves PR's anti-statehood movement in it's attempt to establish an independent national identity.
If Disney takes their money and builds this, I swear, I will never ever go to EC again.
Disney has no bussinesss in getting involved in PR politics!
Which one is it?Statehood has gained popularity over the years, slowly inching upward. That's the trend. I doubt this trend will reverse itself. But I've been wrong in the past. It's a 50:50 chance, but I say the odds are more favorable for statehood, based on the pattern of the past of it gaining popular support each time. The vote is binding, so Congress has to vote on it. They could delay it until the next election cycle but they will vote eventually.
And how is having a pavilion featuring their food getting involved in Puerto Rican politics?
