Princess Fairytale Hall - when is it supposed to open?

Right and everything you said can go in a back pack, no need for a stroller, I am a parent, a very good one, and have had no need for a stroller in the parks. Both of my children walk and have walked every time they have been, if there is something they want or can't live without, then they carry it and understand that if they aren't going to want it or need it the duration of the time we are out, then they should just leave it behind.
Judgmental much? I feel like with most things, if you have to explicitly state "I'm a good parent," then that's up for debate.

I think I'll be putting my 1-year olds in the stroller when we go to WDW in January. Feel free to turn your nose up at us.

Yes thanks for catching on to that, I was deliberately being judgemental because that was what Pirate Frank was doing for absolutely no reason by calling the person snarkey and calling someone he doesn't know a bad parent, and if you actually read my comment, I didn't say anything about putting a child in a stroller, he was justifying the need for a stroller based on the amount of stuff he has to pack.

Found this on the OBJ's site:
http://www.bizjournals.com/orlando/blog/2013/07/disney-work-starts-for-magic-kingdoms.html

Talks about how this High Springs based theme park services company "ThemeWorks Inc." has begun work on a show set for PFTH. Also states that they filed a notice of commencement with Orange County on July 29th describling it's work as "PFTH show set". This company's previous work includes the interior and exterior themeing at SeaWorld Orlando's Journey to Atlantis ride. Still say later this year for opening date.

Beat me to it... :)

Princess Fairytale Hall - PFTH Show Set

Recently for Disney they have done signage for It's Tough to be a Bug and the new Pirates game in MK, as well as the Test Track Driving Tables, and show sets for the recent Big Thunder Mountain refurb.

The annual pass holder issue came out with some details regarding PFTH It seems the stain glassed windows are not going to represent other princesses friends/backstories but focus solely on the story of Cinderella. At least it confirmed that the stained glass waiting room was still going to happen. Another detail was that the entire place is going to have the same style as Cinderella castle so I am guessing that artwork that we saw with each princess having their own themed backdrop is out too.

Actually if it must be there at all, which it is lol, I kinda like the idea of one unified designed theme running all the way through. At least it will match with the castle, and this way they can put whatever character they want and where they want inside without having specific rooms and unable to change out. But at the same time, I'll never step foot near the place lol so I guess will never get to see it anyway. I hope someday all this princess stuff fades and a ride is put back in there, maybe by the 100th anniversary. :banghead:

ps: did you get a new mickeymonitor in the mail sped?

I think strollers are more transportation for the family's stuff than the family's kids. It's a lot easier to push your backpacks, cameras, and other stuff than to carry it around all day. Just a thought.

this granted my sons two still....but i rather him walk but we love the stroller its society's excuse for i aint carrying that sh*T

also i laughed hard about the familys from portland and what not....did they sip there starbucks and drive there prius? or better yet the new lexus HC300?

I got mine yesterday right after I posted, there are three of us as passholders but they only send us one micketmonitor to one of the persons names. odd, but I guess they figure one per household. anyway yeah the magnet was a cool surprise.

Couldn't agree more with the princess crap. If TDO added a ride in the same league as EE to the MK I bet it would close in on 20 million. But of course TDO is trying to sell a FANTASYLAND coaster as an E-ticket.

I don't mind having princess stuff or M&G's given the strong appeal for them among guests. But I have huge problems with removing a perfectly viable ride to do it. I'd be a lot happier with Fairytale Hall if it were built on the Fairytale Garden space or in previous undeveloped land.

Actually, in general, I have big issues with how TDO constantly replaces attractions instead of using their "blessing of space" to simply increase numbers.

Totally agree, this is the main reason I am so against a TSI replacement. I really hope they build outside the tracks on the northern plot. They already broke the "tradition" back in 75.
