Vertical construction on Gringotts has finally continued with recent additional steel going up around the main show building!

I tried to link directly but WDWMagic doesn't allow linking. I planned on putting "courtesy of Orlando United" but this site is so strange about referencing other sites.

No worries about referencing the other sites, esp when it is taken from there.. We do it all the time :)

Are Gringotts and Hogwarts Express the only attractions planned for the expansion or is there another ride that's coming?

In short yes but they are both Eticket attractions. You can also expect a new Ollivanders with much grander special effects. Also waiting to hear about a new wand experience all together.

how is the hogwarts express going to be an e-ticket? isn't it just a monorail with simulated windows/screens?

Im at Universal right now and one of the big cranes is now on site in the London/Diagon Alley plot. It's similar in size to the crane building Transformers. There's also a second smaller crane in the area closer to Gringotts.

We're still waiting on the other tower crane to be erected on the Gringotts side. The one that's already up will be focused on Kings Cross, London, and parts of Diagon.

Seriously right now Universal looks like construction kingdom! There are so many projects going on and so much construction equipment! It's pretty exciting actually!

They can do whatever they want, but I just want to fight Voldemort (and win). Like the Jedi Training at Hollywood Studios.

The dam has been removed, final paint touch ups on the wall were wrapping up today, electrical is going in, and concrete is being poured for the walkways around the waterfront. As long as everything continues as planned expect this to be open by Friday. Also remember several theming elements will not be in upon opening and will be added at a later date. This is being opened up strictly for traffic flow for the guests.
