It would require (a lot) of moving and reworking, but yes.Is there any expansion room in New Fantasyland for a BatB dark ride? If Disney decides to put one in WDW that's really where it should go.

Do you know if there's any chance of it happening? It would require (a lot) of moving and reworking, but yes.
If they want to shove BatB into Epcot...then yes. That's if.
In about 10+ years (barring major change in plan, which is far from likely).Do you know if there's any chance of it happening?
I don't think that would satisfy legacy-obsessed Iger. Perhaps he will demand it get shoehorned in elsewhere. It is easily on track to break $1 bn. They would be foolish to ignore that.In about 10+ years (barring major change in plan, which is far from likely).
Or it could just go where princess fairy tale hall is, wouldn't take a lot of work at all.It would require (a lot) of moving and reworking, but yes.
Hopefully they wouldn't take that route. That's much too small a building to do the property justice.Or it could just go where princess fairy tale hall is, wouldn't take a lot of work at all.
Snow White was there before and it was one of the best dark rides on site.Hopefully they wouldn't take that route. That's much too small a building to do the property justice.
Well that's debatable. But regardless it was still a very small scale attraction.Snow White was there before and it was one of the best dark rides on site.
That building is way too small for the B&tB plans.Or it could just go where princess fairy tale hall is, wouldn't take a lot of work at all.
I wasn't talking about an exact carbon copy. I'm just saying the space is there to do somethingThat building is way too small for the B&tB plans.
Oh I haven't. What I was implying is that Bob Igor will want it somewhere. That said, this is a VERY easy switch (Epcot) to make. If they were willing to put GotG into ToT, this would be an even easier decision--they have the space where it basically makes sense (if anything, the live action BatB is more clearly set in France than the original) and can easily substitute one use of LPS for another. We shall see how the next 6 months go. Remember how quickly the DHS plans shifted? If a new Beauty ride is happening (anytime soon), it will be in EPCOT. Haven't heard of a possibility for DHSto get the ride, but if you have @MansionButler84 , I would be pleasantly surprised.
This is what I've been saying. You literally have a similar project scheduled to start construction by year-end, but based upon a largely-forgotten IP. The have a surefire winner in Tokyo's BatB ready to go--and it was the runner-up for this spot to begin with. Any reasonable media company would tip this project to the runaway hit and the timing is perfect for such a switch. Then you reasonably can open an E ticket for your newest blockbuster by 2019. It is blowing away even the loftiest of predictions.During its 24 weeks in release, Ratatouille grossed $620,702,951 worldwide. Regardless of which gross ranking you elect to use, domestic, domestic adjusted, or worldwide unadjusted, Ratatouille tends to be one of Pixar's lowest grossing films (domestic rank 13/17; domestic adjusted for ticket price inflation rank 14/17; worldwide unadjusted rank 8/17).
Initial estimates suggest that Beauty and the Beast has grossed $350,000,000 in its opening weekend. Beauty and the Beast has topped the previous March weekend record, is now the seventh highest opening weekend ever, and currently holds the record for the largest opening for a PG-rated film. In one weekend, Beauty and the Beast has grossed more than half of what Ratatouille had grossed in its 24 weeks in release.
I would welcome a unique offering in France because Beauty and the Beast already enjoys a sizable footprint in Fantasyland and I detest duplication within the Walt Disney World resort. However, I would be stunned if the current IP-driven management selects Ratatouille for France's expansion pad, over Beauty and the Beast, which is anticipated to gross over $1,000,000,000.

Or go with, "oh yeah. That movie."
The Bobs want Rat opened by 2019/20 for some reason. They very recently accelerated the plan. BatB wouldn't meet their schedule.
I'll let you know@marni1971 , I respect you and regularly search for your posts, so that I may be informed of the most up-to-date happenings. Going into the weekend, that may very well have been the case, however, I cannot imagine tomorrow's conference calls to be void of a discussion of France's expansion pad.
