Okay, sorry for the delay (the combination of feeling under the weather and my laptop choosing to restart pushed my plans around). Here are some details of the Swiss pavilion's village:

I think the real issue is what could Switzerland provide that wasn't already provided in Germany? I know they each have their own cultures, but they are very similar.

Next up, the insane premise of the Matterhorn ride

That Clock Music Box shop reminds me of the cuckoo clocks from Pinocchio. Now I'm sad a shop like that never exists at any Disney Park. I always wanted one of Gephettos clocks

Thank you.

I've mentioned it already, but I'm currently re doing my original Futureworld edits. More material, far better quality. And Horizons is being worked on right now.
I'm already hyped to you updated Imagination tribute video which is set for an hour long. Seriously the ending to you latest one set to the original area music while we see Dreamfinder and Figment playing with each other and talking or meeting children made me tear up. I hope the ending to the newest one will be just as touching.

Which brings up a good question for @marni1971 . In all of the whispers for new pavilion(s) and attractions you've heard, is the long-rumored refresh of Imagination on the table again? It seems like Figment has been getting a lot of love recently.

We were talking about Guardian's of the Galaxy going into the Energy pavilion, not Ratatouille going into France.

To get back on topic, regarding Ratatouille, I enjoyed the ride when I rode it in 2015, and will be happy to be able to ride it while in the US, and think that it will fit the France pavilion better than Beauty & The Beast, or Frozen fits Norway, or Avatar fits Animal Kingdom, I still don't know how I feel about it being put in France. If it has to be an IP addition, it is probably the best fit that they could get, but I think that I would rather have a non-IP addition if possible.
Well, this is the "possible attraction in france pavilion" thread. So the majority will see the talk as either the rat or beauty and the beast.

To be honest, most of my Viking knowledge came from Maelstrom, History's Vikings, and BBC's The Last Kingdom, but where I first learned about the Vikings was the Muppets... I can't look at inaccurate Viking helmets without thinking of their take on "In the Navy" while raiding and pillaging.

I guess that what I'm getting at is that Maelstrom could have been updated with the Muppets ;)
The Norway Pavilion and the emphasis on Vikings could have taken a similar approach as Pirates of the Caribbean. Take real things that exist/existed and and play them up as something more lighthearted. Of course with a tie back to a particular country, I could see how that would be deemed offensive. However, I can't say it wouldn't have been any more offensive than ignoring the true history of a country in favor of an animated movie.

I would love it if Akerhaus booted the Princesses (and moved them to the Odyssey, not like that space is being used right now) and if the Viking ship came back. It may not seem like a lot, but those are two changes that could make Norway feel like Norway again. While I'm not a fan of the Stave Church housing Frozen things, at least they try to make a connection between Norway and Arendelle.

Note- I like Frozen, I really do, I just feel like the ties to Epcot's Norway could be a bit more fleshed out.

Vikings of Scandinavia as an attraction concept would be interesting.

I could definitely see Royal Sommerhus opening it's doors to other princesses down the road and operate similar to how Princess Fairytale Hall operates.

That's actually how I always viewed Maelstrom from childhood on. Viking PotC, even though it was shorter.

I mean, technically, they have the half-pavilion behind the Elsa & Anna M&G if they wanted to do something like the Vikings. I'm not sure it'd be enough room though.

I was thinking about that with the Sommerhus!! They have 3 or 4 rooms, so it's definitely possible.

Okay, this is not going to be a popular idea (especially since it should get built in DHS)... but if Disney ever wants to build an Egypt pavilion (set inside a pyramid of course), I can think of one IP they can tie into it (since all of their rides have to use an existing IP nowadays )... It rhymes with Schmindiana Bones...

This idea of only using IPs for new attractions really just sucks all of the creative energy out of the room. While I think Ratatouille is actually a pretty decent fit for the French pavilion (focuses on food in France), I worry about other pavilions. Like Aladdin in Morocco (avoiding going on that tirade today since I've talked about it in other threads). That property doesn't belong there, and I hope they don't throw a ride based on Aladdin in the back of Morocco.

I would love to see an original story with a pavilion. Like, if Brazil ever gets a spot, I would love to see a boat ride on the Amazon. However, I guess I could compromise with Disney on it; if the Cabarellos are kicked out of the Mexico pavilion, I might be okay with Jose being a narrator for the ride. There are so many creative ideas out there; I just wish Disney would start coming up with them on their own again.

Let me start by saying that it would be a horrible fit in Epcot. Like sure, there are moments of discovery and awe, but to paraphrase Dr. Henry Jones- "It belongs in Hollywood Studios!" Also, Egypt, like Morocco, is also in Northern Africa, and I would rather Epcot go with an equitorial or southern African country first.

But like I said, if Iger & Co are so focused on putting an IP in every country, new or old, and disregard the obvious need for it at Hollywood Studios (or even Adventureland at Magic Kingdom), the only IP that they have that's related to Egypt is Indiana Jones.

Actually, I take that back. Aladdin & Jasmine briefly visit Egypt during 'A Whole New World'... which would actually be a better M&G area for them than Morocco.
