I'm sorry, was there this much fan appreciation for Earthquake/Disaster? I was there and can't seem to recall any at allWhat is sad is the last.time there was this much fanfare for even an aging attraction spectacle, we got Supercharged. I hope we really get something special. I wonder if the Court of Miracles will go with it.

Whatever ends up replacing the entire LC area, it needs to be family-friendly with no height requirement/motion sickness inducing ride.
For better or worse, IOA just isn't a shows & omnimovers sort of place, so there's always going to be little to do for those who basically can't ride anything else. For those who can, they've actually expanded their offerings since the park opened. They've added three children's rides since 1999. Dueling Dragons was replaced with a family coaster. Most people can ride Kong. Anyone can ride the Hogwarts Express, provided they have a park hopper. There's a rather large chasm between not catering to babies & the elderly and strictly being a thrill park.Exactly. The parks dynamic has gotten more of the thrill stereotype it never was. It is more coaster and ride heavy than it was in 1999, particularly with Sindbad and Poseidon Gone. Studios has taken a height requirement shift in the last decade as well.
Every well rounded theme park needs a 2 year old to grandparent set of attractions that the entire family can enjoy.

Do I think Lost Continent's replacement should include a major show? Yes. Do I trust them to create a quality show and keep it running like they would a ride? No.
I would like a LoZ land with Sindbad replaced with a ride and Poseidon rethemed into a dungeon walkthrough. Lot’s of opportunities to hearSo what’s next for Lost Continent? Plan A: I was thinking of them building a massive ride by combining both the Poseidon and Sinbad buildings, and would be LC-themed. Plan B: The Zelda land becomes true, but I ain’t going to complain about that anymore, because while IOA is supposed to represent literature works, one of the park's opening day attractions is themed to a television cartoon (Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls).
I would also argue that there is no reason for PF to close unless something is immediately replacing it.
It seems like the decision was last minute as it became way too expensive to maintain/run for the very low amount of guests who experience it on a daily basis, and they would rather have cost savings in the short-term while a long-term project is developed (or waiting for approval).
It's no secret that LC's days are limited, just a matter of when... which seems to be 2026/2027 as the goal for a new project to open up.
I'm no fan of SBNO attractions, but I'm really hoping this project starts sooner than later.
Standing But Not OperatingWhat's SBNO an acronym for?
