I doubt Nintendo will be blocking this, they are very happy with Super Nintendo Land, and very happy with the Super Mario Movie. Zelda is more popular than it ever has been, especially in the west, and I’m sure that a soundstage or two could be demolished to make one hell of a dark ride building. Don’t worry about USF, pretty sure that the electric rat and it’s 900 or so friends will set up there (if I were to guess, Springfield when that license expires) to complete bringing the Nintendo trinity to Orlando.

The soundstages are too far away to utilize. What's immediately behind Poseidon & Sindbad is an office building, so I don't see the land being expanded, only using what they already have.

I think a Hogsmeade expansion would be a terrible use of the land. We have more than enough HP as it is.

Any chance for a great land to become even better is welcome.

Forbidden Forest to Lost Woods would make for a great transition, though I’m not sure they have the room in that area for both.
I imagine most of the Hyrule aesthetic would end up indoors. You can’t really achieve Lost Woods outdoors in Florida (just like I don’t think they really achieved the Forbidden Forest outdoors at Hagrid’s). I would expect them to build Hyrule Castle and Hyrule Town with any other location explored within the ride building. I’d love a boat ride and/or a Soarin’-style flying ride on a paraglider.

^Castle town, not Hyrule town. I wouldn’t put it past them to have PF become a ruined Temple of Time and keeping the Sinbad area desert themed and make that Guredo Town (although that would mean every employee would need to be tall red haired woman.). Honestly I expect it to be the great plateau with Hyrule Castle only being seen on the ride.

The more controversial news would be no men are allowed in this part of the land.

Just wanted to share a bit of fun I had over this past weekend. My wife and I went to GalaxyCon in Columbus, Ohio to get some signatures and do some meet 'n greets. For Christmas, she had decided to get me the Poseidon's Fury farewell shirt and figured I should open it early and bring it with after finding out Jeffery Combs would be there. For those unware, he played Lord Darkenon in Poseidon's Fury.

He was both shocked/touched to be brought this particular piece of memorabilia to sign. Here's two stories he told me in relation to his experience with Universal/Poseidon's Fury:

1) When he signed on with Universal to play the part, his paid contract with them was that they would only use his character/performance for 5 years. When another fan brought up that they enjoyed the show years past that, he had thought the show (-and his performance) had ended already so he had to get in contact with Universal to get paid for all the years past the original intended run.

2) He asked me if it was a good show! I was shocked to learn that he has never, ever experienced it. Crazy!

Anyways, just thought this was a fun experience related to the former attraction to share. I plan to get the shirt and our final showing wristbands shadowboxed to be hung on the wall!

That's cool. Seems odd about the five year contract thing. It def lived long past that of course.

And I love him in The Frightners. He elvated that movie that was a fun time.
Very cool that he signed it.
