Pop Warner problems...again!

Laying in bed at All Star Sports at 12:20am. Disney Security finally taking care of the mongrels. Yelling, screaming, running up and down the halls, no supervision, and every other word is the f-bomb. Called front desk and about 5minutes later I hear someone yell to get back on their rooms. That lasted about 2 minutes. Called again, same results. Called again and now they are all running back and forth between the rooms and its 11:30pm. Called AGAIN. This time Disney Security showed up in force. I could hear them talking outside my window and I went to talk to them. They caught a bunch of them in the stairwell. Now they are making the coaches do a he'd count, but I can hear the coaches saying that when they knock on doors, nobody answers. This is just fantastic.

So no sleep and they can't round up all the kids so they can put an end to it. I change my vacation date a week later just so I wouldn't have to put up with this crap, so much for that. I'm thoroughly ed at the 2 hour response and inability of these Pop Warner coaches to be able to keep their flock in check. I think its like 3 coaches and ZERO parents with this team.

I wouldn't be afraid to ask to be moved to another value resort. Perhaps Pop Century. You paid good money for a room and you are entitled to a room that is free from screaming teenagers. I had a similar issue several years ago and we got moved at no cost after putting up with 2 nights of total insanity coming from the kids.

This is a prime example of why I will NEVER stay at that resort. Sports, Disney, and teenagers bad combo for the value resorts. At least at movies or music the teenagers or loud mouths generally don't go to or POP.

I did notice on my last trip there was a bunch more problems with this during "free" dining special than there was last year when there was no specials going on. Just my opinion but I found to deal with a more quiet experience you want to stay away from any special Disney is offering.

I'd rather spend more money during no specials, non-peak, and school time since I will deal with a lot less of that. But again that was just my experience with it.

Question for people who have stayed at the Moderate or Luxury resorts do you guys experience half these problems? Or is the staff right there to put a stop to it? Because if they are then I will spend even MORE money to stay there just to do away with all that nonsense.

Demand to be moved, file a complaint, and write to Disney stating your problems and complaints.

It's the only way they'll listen.

I've never remotely had to deal with that. I hate to be that guy, but more pricey options are self selecting. It's the reason why you don't see people running around cursing at a $50 a plate restaurant.

Great news! Just passes them all up front getting ready for their bus out of here. But of course, bus is ready to leave and they are looking for a bunch of them. I can't even fathom leaving a group of pre-teens with zero adult supervision nor thinking they have the ability to properly pack, collext their belongings, or be at the bus at the right time.

But it all looks to be coming up Milhouse today. POP Warner is gone and thereare about 20 people in the food court at 8am. I can imagine that crowd levels will match. w00t!

This is why I will never go back to disney during pop warner again. They run amuck in the parks and at the resort, they are horrible on the busses and monorail. Their chapparone's could care less and disney does almost nothing to control it. It has to be one of the worst times to go in my opinion. I do not need my 5yr old daughter hearing the things these kids say, pushing people and just acting like animals all while their chapparones are off somewhere else.

They smell like that regardless of Pop, as I noticed that on our last trip and we got back just before Pop started. This was at Pop Century 80's btw.

Apparently one group started a fight or two at Hollywood Studios last year and that group was not permitted to return in future years. Filing a complaint with details is the best thing you can do. If they are bad enough, Disney will not have them back.

Wow, didn't know they were that bad :lookaroun...ask to be moved, you clearly don't deserve this.

They are always THAT bad. Sadly, it's not all of them, but the bad ones are loud enough to trump the good, well managed kids.

For this reason, I avoid A-SSp(there really isn't a friendly way to abbr. that lol) like the plague. It's my luck I'd be there for cheer week or some other sporting event and, unfortunately, the teens and preteens run around like wild banjees.

I would ask to be moved to another hotel.


Personally, I think Disney should put an (*) with sport weeks on the booking site for the value resorts being used. That way guests are warned

We had this problem a few years ago. After 2 hours of no sleep and screaming kids (and adults!) outside, my brother, a former CM, called Orange County police. We had called the front desk 3 times in 2 hours to no affect, and we just wanted to sleep. When we opened the door to beg these kids to be quiet, we had a soda bottle thrown at our door. That was it.

Within 15 minute the police were outside and the noise stopped. My brother said that the hotel was probably furious, as Disney hates when Orange/Osceola police are called on property, but it got to the point where we were extremely tired and concerned, as they were clearly getting violent by throwing the bottle.

File a complaint. In writing. Not verbal. Demand to be moved. To a mod if you can argue the point of compensation. And mention that Disney know about the problems year after year but still take the money and fill the rooms.

We just returned from a week at POP Century. They were booked solid wiht escapees from the AS resorts due to pop warner / cheer. We never had any trouble in the parks at all, actually hardly knew the teams were there. We only saw a couple groups of cheerleaders over the course of the week. These groups are under supervised from what we saw, only three or four adults with what looked like a bus load of girls.

Disney will never turn away this yearly cash cow.

That was us 2 years ago at POR. They stuck us in the same area of the bayou as the cheerleaders (we had a 6 month old and 2 year old). We asked to be moved after the first night of out of control kids but they said they were booked so they couldnt but would handle the problem . The next night it got so bad with the pizza/beer party by the pool that the chaperones where having and the kids running around screaming at 11pm that we called the police ourselves since Security and the hotel staff wasnt helping us. The next morning we asked to see the hotel manager and even though they still refused to move us we did get our hotel costs refunded for the nights that pop was there. This year we went again last week but stayed at WL to make sure we wouldnt have the same kind of problem. Im sorry this happened on your trip
