You are right. The card says nothing about what resort you are at. I guess they scan it. I have never been checked so I dont know.

which hotel your at is in your ID # on the very bottom of the room card...

all disney resorts ID numbers start with 99... and then the next two numbers is the resort your staying at..... so (look at my room key from feb '01) the first 4 dig. of my ID is 9911, so 99 is saying a disney room id card, and 11 is Disney's Port Orleans (which is now the french 1/4)...

Can I ask where you get your facts because mine starts with 0790 and there is not 90 resorts and you said 99 ment WDW resort, but mine starts with 07.

BTW mine is also from 2001.

The code isn't gonna help you in case they check your ID at the poolside. They change the color of the ID's every year, so old passes from other visits in previous years wouldn't be good. I guess if you go more than once a year and stay at different resorts, you could use an old pass, but then again the dates of your stay are on the front. Are you guys asking about the codes just out of curiosity???? If so, then please excuse this post. It's really hot here, and my brain is starting to melt.....................

Someone wondered how a CM would be able to tell if you were pool hopping at say, Stormalong Bay, as long as you had a valid resort card from a different hotel. That's when Jimmybop mentioned that all resort cards have a code that tells where you're staying.

Thank you for bringing up my name....

I'm a notorious pool hopper when staying in WDW and off, and I'm going to again this August. It's not a crime, I spend more than enough money in WDW, I think pool hopping is a reasonable exchange.

I already have my excuses lined up IF, and a big IF I get questioned. I've never been questioned before!

And I recommend everyone who reads this not to pool hop, so they won't have to crack down on it and it will be easier for me to do it!
