No,because they're all at the same resort hotel...it just has many buildings. Most people would just use the quiet pool closest to their particular building, but they are free to walk further to use another. They tend to be identical, unlike the main "themed" pool, which will vary from hotel to hotel.

Surely the term pool hopping is wrong with restricted movement caused by the water density at best it should be called pool bobbing.
The hopping refers to the traveling from one to another, not the activity once you're in the water. I would be hard pressed to call any of them "swimming" pools, as they are either too crowded or poorly configured for any real swimming! BUt bobbing is a very good desription of what one can actually do once in the water!

Does staying 3 weeks at the POR really make me poorer than some one staying 6 nights at the GF? I thought class and staus was the reserve of the Brits.
No, it just means that you are more concerned with time spent, rather than luxury. Some people would prefer to pay extra to get more luxurious surroundings (including a "better"pool) for a shorter amount of time. If I had to travel all day at huge expense to get there, I might reconsider my priorities, also! Does this make you poorer, or a second class citizen? Of course not! It just means that in this particular instance, you've chosen to pay less per day than someone else, with the understanding that you will be sacrificing some of the extra deluxe resort perks.
I have friends and relatives with much nicer houses than mine, but both parents work outside of the home. I chose to sacrifice that " luxury" for the luxury of staying home with my children. That might make me poorer in a financial sense, but not an emotional one. We all make choices regarding our financial resources! You chose a longer trip over more luxurious accomodations. People will often choose a less expensive option if it means more frequent (or any) trips to the World! Not all people in the "cheap" hotels are poor; neither are all of the people in the "deluxe" hotels rich!
