Would they build more long houses on luau cove for regular rooms and shift everything over to keep all the DVC rooms in the same area?
That's my biggest question too, along with, how annoying is the construction going to be for guests staying in the Longhouses? How tall and obnoxious is it going to be?
I feel like it was rumoured but I don’t think in the luau spot? But I can’t remember where exactly. I thought I’d hate it but the picture marni posted actually looked really nice. Was that not the plan before COVID? Hence, the mini-renovation rather than the complete overhaul with a new tower that was initially going to happen?
That’s because they’re just building the retirement community for DVC in Lake Nona, not on propertyI don't think they are planning on building new DVC rooms right now... See Reflections...
Yes, that is the credible rumor. Sad! The Luau and show are integral to the Poly ambiance.Well wasn't there a credible rumor about the show part at least? That the show is dead.
I have never been. peasant problems.Yes, that is the credible rumor. Sad! The Luau and show are integral to the Poly ambiance.
A DVC addition or standard rooms you think? An addition in this area wouldn’t surprise me.

I wouldn’t mind them developing the area if it included dining and didn’t stick out like the GF does from certain angles. My concern with adding too many rooms is that it puts more strain on services that are already operating at capacity, especially restaurant availability.
Let us introduce you to modern Disney...It’s a village, why would a tower be a credible rumor?
