With all the dining options at DS I really don't care about PH opening just really happy that the old eyesore paint job is gone.

From the back. Didn't realize they were going to have a back patio... It could be because it's overcast, but the fabric looks like a darker gray.

Planet Hollywood is REALLY close.

PH probably beats Paddlefish by 2 months. To be honest, there's still a chance it opens this month in soft opening (at least from what my friends who work there say... they're eying being open by Christmas)

You can book direct with Planet Hollywood for 3rd January onwards. Not available through Disney yet. I'm hoping for Jan 31st, but have a back up booked. Youngest son is really wanting to go on NYE.

Ugh... those units popping out of the "roof" are so unappealing.

This had the opportunity to look very clean and slick, but things like that single-handedly ruin it, imo.

I like the exterior, and see it as a huge improvement over what was there. It looks neat and fresh. Overall, very happy with this.

My only concern is that the nicer outside will cause guests to have false expectations for the inside, including the food served. But I suppose the planet hollywood name is enough to prevent that.

Ughhhhhh!!!!!!! Those mechanical vents! So horrible. After finally seeing the fabric in person, I thought it looked really convincing and very well done. Then these vents.

From coke store windows yesterday looked like an awful lot of work left to open within 4 weeks.. There are still Sunbelt high lifts inside the building and a lot looks unfinished still. I like the fabric better in pictures, hope they plan to cover up the ruffled bottom edges
