whats wrong with loving pizza sticks?
I honestly prefer the sticks than the pizza of pizza hut :p

Flippers is just awful. Ate their once. Undercooked. Too much sauce

Yes.

When they're discovered, they are trespassed. I saw quite a few in the lobby of the dolphin during the baseball winter meetings.

This is a great question. Actually this does exist and actually in many different forms (either accepted or not). I will say this - due to the rise of gps/radar enabbled apps (online dating) this type of activity is occurring. `

A Central Florida chain. I personally think the pizza is good, but the bread sticks...the bread sticks are to die for! Slathered in garlic butter spread and parmesan cheese.

For Flippers - pass on the Pizza just get the bread sticks they are ambrosial, It's like the old days at college when we wanted a burger meal it was done like this

Wendy's for the Frosty, MickeyD's for the Fries (when they still did them in BEEF FAT) and Burger King for the Whopper. You then had a feast worthy of the gods.

I'd have to say that Disney's Pizza is one of the best down there.

I was raised on East of Chicago, so it can only get better from there. I do try to get out and try local pizza places, but having family that will basically only eat at chains really stifles one's shot at trying new food choices.

Ok - Having eaten pizza in most places in the US, Chicago has the best Pizza hands down, NYC is a close second.

Prostitutes at Disney? Do they do a Princess theme? What about male escorts? Can someone order in a Prince Charming or a Gaston?

Things I never thought about before I came to this site....

Never would have thought about pizza scams, and definitely did not consider prostitutes!!

For the right price I imagine anything is possible, Although I'd probably skip asking the Concierge at WDW...

Except East of Chicago is quite possibly one of the most disgusting chain pizzas out there (slightly better than CiCi's), and is nowhere to be found close to Chicago that I've noted. But yes, I've had genuine Chicago pizza and that stuff is just amazing. Haven't had genuine NYC pizza in NY, as I only had about 8-10 hours in Manhattan, so seeing everything I could (including the 5th Ave. World of Disney, it was awesome) was a priority over trying the food, but my next trip back to the Big Apple will include some food-specific stops.

I respectfully disagree. If you happen into the right establishment in NYC, your taste buds will have a life altering experience. Of course, I like the thin coal fired pies as opposed to Chicago's deep dish piggy fests, so it's all a matter of opinion.

As to the topic at hand, all these credit card scams have just become insane. I swear that every payday, I'm just going to start withdrawing most of the $$$ immediately and pay cash only.

Suggest a NYC establishment - I will visit next trip to the city. The taste buds always have a life altering experience in NYC its just a question of what is it THIS trip.

Check out Arturo's at 106 West Houston Street, or Angelo's Coal Fired Pizza on West 57th. Neither take reservations and both are generally mobbed, so be warned. If you find yourself in Long Island, Salvatore's in Port Wasington is the best pizza I have ever had in my life.

I'm actually on Long Island fairly frequently usually in Stony Brook so it's Salvatore's next month!

I think (not sure) Stoney Brook is pretty far from Port Washington (it's a lonnnnnnnnnnng island) but if you find yourself there, you won't be sorry. It has rave reviews on Yelp. 4.5 out of 5 stars. Check it out.

Sorry to take this off topic. Now back to your regularly scheduled pizza scam discussion.

Stony Brook is about an hours drive from Port Washington.

Try O Sole Mio and Cataffo's Pizza. Both in Stony Brook.

The scammers probably visit weekly. I stayed at CSR for two weeks. Found one under the door the first week and another between the door and wall the second. Just ripped them up and threw them away.

I'm confused here a tad... besides being annoying because you have to deal with it.. how is this a big problem for people?

If you order something and it doesn't come... call your CC company and contest the charge.
If you find your card has fraudulent charges... call your CC company and report it and you're not liable.
http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0213-lost-or-stolen-credit-atm-and-debit-cards

Even for Debit Cards (why people use these.. ugh) - you are limited to 0/50/500 depending on when you report it.

No one can steal your identity with just your credit card number and your name.

Certainly dealing with canceling a credit card is annoying while on travel.. but how on earth do these guys make money at this? I guess by not actually making charges themselves... but by selling the card info as middle men so they don't have to worry about things tracing back to them.

probably because a lot of them do it to foreign tourists?
they cant contest the changes immediately or see the information immediately.
Also the protection depends on the policy of the card, not all are protected against frauds (at least not in my country, they sell these as "extra" like insurance.) or they put limits of "maximum of 3-10 days after the charge" for complaining.

they could do the trick many have used elsewhere.. aka buy precharged cards with the fraudulent credit card in question.. then sell them somewhere..
or amazon gift cards or store cards..
there are many ways to do that.
