To an extent... I will say that the meat's lack of quality detracted from the overall dish. I've been to plenty of Mexican restaurants, some better than others, and if the meat is too tough or fatty, it detracts from the flavorings and spices, which is what Mexican food should be about.I think I can agree with that...but Its not really about “the meat” in Mexican restaurants
I'm not looking for USDA Prime here - just something that's at least good enough to not detract from the flavorings. And in this particular case, it did in my view.
