Rumor Pixar's Coco coming to the Mexico Pavilion

I think I can agree with that...but Its not really about “the meat” in Mexican restaurants
To an extent... I will say that the meat's lack of quality detracted from the overall dish. I've been to plenty of Mexican restaurants, some better than others, and if the meat is too tough or fatty, it detracts from the flavorings and spices, which is what Mexican food should be about.

I'm not looking for USDA Prime here - just something that's at least good enough to not detract from the flavorings. And in this particular case, it did in my view.

Look at it this way -- each chew is another opportunity to savor the flavor...

Coco at Epcot is VERY VERY Unlikely like @marni1971 said. It's mediocre ticket sales at the box office. Plus gran fiesta tour is slowly getting more merch.

Haven't you beaten this drum before?

And personally it's about time Gran Fiesta had some merch. They're likely testing the merchandise waters here. JMO, of course. The ride having merchandise doesn't mean Coco isn't an option or may not come.

Coco did much better at international box offices than domestic ($209 million domestic to current $590 million international). It had its biggest grosses in China, Mexico, and Japan. It's the 2nd highest grossing animated film of all time in China (behind Zootopia).

As WDW keeps working to court the global market, I'd wager that American gross is not the only element at play for these types of decisions. In fact, I'd guess it's going to become much less of a factor as the century progresses.

I rode grand fiesta a couple of nights back and through the whole thing was really dated. From the look of the ride itself, to the filmed sections on the screens, it all looked very “80’s”. I’d be happy with a coco overlay to bring it up to date. Plus the film looked gorgeous, lots of great scenes/art to copy onto the ride.

So say that happens and Coco is super popular... where does the queue go? There's almost no queue space for this ride.

This is exactly what I have been saying about this ride as well. I absolutely loved Coco and would enjoy a new ride in the Mexico Pavilion. That being said, there is no way that that inside the pyramid they will be able to hold that many people for a new ride. Even if there was the room, I feel like that many people could have an effect on the experience of those trying to eat and the San Angel Inn Restaurant!

I ate at the San Angel Inn last night. It was delicious! Even the pickiest eater in our group said that it was the best meal he'd had all week.
Glad to hear it. Maybe my meal was just a fluke. Like I said, the dishes were prepared well, just the quality of the meats was noticably lacking. I always liked it before this past trip though, so I'm willing to give it another shot next time.

I believe, if I remember right, there were a few different proposals on what to do with the queue because I was always wondering the same thing. If I remember correctly, one was to go out side so that you would enter the ride outside the pyramid, and the other was to get rid of some of the shops.

I take this become a "Dead" Idea.....And I'm pretty sure that Mirror De Los Muertos isn't even working as we've heard nothing about it ever since it got put up in the entryway exhibit..
