Perfect use of the space. Now once everything is online, take the third track away from Toy Story Mania and turn it into a Metroville facing Where's Jack Jack dark ride and its a fun little mini-land.
I don't see that happening, especially with the exit the way it is set up now, but you never know.
While we're throwing out "what ifs," what's the deal with the MRRR show building? Originally it was being suggested that the new ride wouldn't use the entirety of the GMR foot print. If there's still some room in the back of that building, could it ever be accessible from the old Pixar Place and utilized for something?
This will be special use space. It's something they can easily block off for private parties and such. If you think about it, this space affords them easy access to the load side of TSMM so they can run a special event while maintaining guest access during park hours. I wouldn't be surprised to see a backside entry for the new Mickey ride as well.My Question is why did they spend the time and money to put that new gate instead of construction wall?
The fact Luxo at DHS was damaged and withdrawn?they are going to add an animatronic luxo lamp to DCA Pixar Pier. what changed that lets them use the luxo lamp now?
This new space will also as someone else alluded to, provide a bypass of sorts directly to Starwarsland as well. All in all, this former on stage space just became multi use for pennies.

It has ended...It was just to promote the new movie with an "Expo" Theme to it...
Universal has the theme park rights to Luxo east of the Mississippi.
I would like to know too...IMO it makes sense considering that corner is going to bottleneck they are going to need any access area to get through due to hoards of guests within that area..Who said this? There was speculation earlier in the thread that it could be used that way, but I didn't; see anything to indicate that it would be used that way.
I always thought it had something to do with copyright and the company that owned Luxo was going to sue? Or is that in the same idea of the much loved Horizons sinkhole? The fact Luxo at DHS was damaged and withdrawn?

They could have kept TSMM and Pixar Place the way it was before and used the space where the entrance to TSMM is now for another attraction.I don't see that happening, especially with the exit the way it is set up now, but you never know.

She was out at the Tomorrowland Expo at the Dance Party and during that time she'd do her M&G's...Edna Mode has been a popular character this summer at DCA's Pixar Pier and around the Incredicoaster. She seems like kind of a cult favorite on Instagram with Disneyland fans. Seems like a good use of unused space for DHS.
