Pixar Place Expansion

Personally, I think the Monsters Inc Coaster is gonna happen. That's a great idea that would be another major draw to Studios apart from the Sunset Blvd attractions, TSMM and Star Tours. Bug's Life playground would be an easy fix for the HISTK one. Pizza Planet replacing Studio Catering Company makes sense, but if you are going to move it, they should enclose the area and do it right. The current Pizza Planet sucks compared to the one in the movie, which shouldn't be that hard to do in real life. As for the Backlotless Tour plot, I can see a few possible options:

Yes, a version of Radiator Springs Racers is a possibility. I could see them taking a different direction than the DCA one and going with more of a European theme like in Cars 2. The ride would be smaller than the original and still use the Test Track ride system, but still fun.

Since Backlot Tour's queue is a fairly large building, that could become home to one new attraction and the Catastrophe Canyon plot could become a second. If that was the case, I would nominate Up and The Incredibles for new attractions. Up would be a dark ride using an updated Peter Pan ride system where you fly in couches attached to balloons through the wonders of South America with Carl and Russell. The Incredibles would be an EMV attraction where riders are sent into the city to help The Incredibles vanquish evil using guest activated surprises throughout the ride. There would be a bunch of them, so you'd have to ride multiple times in order to see them all. In the end, your team is graded based on how many you set off.

Interesting ideas no?

Those are definitely cool ideas. I think the Monsters INC coaster will happen, too. But RSR would be a long ways off, it it'll ever happened, if we get the MI coaster. I'd like to see an Indy ride at DHS before RSR, though.

I do like the idea of an UP ride similar to E.T. and Peter Pan. Could be a lot of potential there. The Pixar Place expansion has to happen there is to much oppurtunity there with the popularity of the movies and everything.

dca's opened in 04, wdsp's opened in 07
WDSPs was planned from before the park was built, deffered due to building costs of phase one, then DCA was deemed more needy and the design cloned for the west coast park before it was built in Paris.

So it was designed for WDSP but built in DCA first.

Honestly, I'm shocked that there's not some sort of gokart ride based on "Cars". I thought that was a pretty "Duh" ride idea after that movie came out. Or this there a ride like this and I'm just an idiot? LOL

I think a "Bolt" attraction could be cool... If they did it kinda like the big action sequence when they're filming him in the beginning, it would be something little kids would love.

So it is a clone of a redesigned ride, that is worse then just a direct copy.

I didn't mean that shows are bad...what I meant by my comment was that they need to STOP adding shows to the park, and START adding more rides. They have more than enough shows in my opinion. Any expansion should be ride related. That's all I meant.

I get that. And obviously with more rides, the lines will go down as well. It works just as well.

Agreed, it just matters what kind of ride system they use for it. I think that a kuka ride system can be used for it. As for the story, guests can battle the underminer. The queue room would show the slip in the last scene, the doors would open up and guests board the ride. Also the over the arm restraints would be painted so that when you have your ride picture, it appears you are wearing an incredibles costume.

Or it could be based on getting to Nomanisan Island and hunting down a version of the Omnidroid. Maybe even include some of those chase sequences or something. We could run along with Dash and get splashed with a little water as he flies by. Lots of ways to make it a fun ride.

Agreed, the franchise leads itself to being used in different locations.
