Hahha ya I’m ok. Wasn’t the tree I was thinking about. Ya the dumbo hedge wall is a damn shame. DL Has been losing a lot of planters and trees. I hope this trend starts slowing down.

I also see they got rid of a little garden area near Pinocchio for more stroller parking.

I understand the need for doing these things before Star Wars opens. But it's a shame it has to come to that for Star Wars.

No one. I think Disney drastically overestimates the general public recognition and attachment to the imaginatively named "Pixar ball"

The general public can't tell a Pixar movie from any other movie. When people see Pixar fest, they'll be looking for Ice Age and Shrek.

Star Wars Crowds a'comin'? Being an occasional tourist, and not a local APer, I'm not as familiar with the walkway crowding issues as those of you who are, but I've wondered if the Dumbo hedge and other planting losses are in preparation for infrastructure improvements to crowd flow.

They re definitely for crowd flow and a necessary evil. Just hope they re finished after the NOS planters are removed.

Does anyone else think its ridiculous that they would reopen it missing a float from it's first run? With a promised new float- 2 months from now?

Just seems kinda lazy on Disney's part.

Lazy or inept--you choose. Sometimes I think current management can't manage their way out of a paper bag.

While from a vid-watching only viewpoint, and fully understanding the deficit that entails, I have to agree that the pacing is lackluster. But I do enjoy the visual production of the castle projection work in this show.

Good crowd reactions from the first showing. Unfortunately Pixar doesn't have a lot of music that really resonates emotionally with people outside of Friend like Me, UP's theme, and maybe Wall-E. The lack of a music library gives a lot less opportunity for an impactful show unlike a Disney centric show.

I think Coco should be added to the list, but it might not yet have enough traction in the public conciousness.. Brave's song is ok.

(This is me literally not watching the video so I don't know what they chose inevitably, but those two are appropriate musical candidates).

Seems to me like an odd hodgepodge of tired one liners from Pixar movies.

The music isn't strong enough to evoke much emotion. Exception: UP. That was a pretty good segment. Cute house flyover. Honestly it sort of stuck out from the rest of the show. But only because the rest of the show was so bland. I'm surprised they didn't stick the pilot dogs in the show. That's about the quality of the rest of the show. Flying dogs quality.

The UP part was fantastic. Really makes you appreciate how great that intro is. Up with The Lion King as the GOAT.

Thanks Pixar Fest - I'm less and less enthused about visiting the parks for a day next month.

No World of Color. No California Screamin'. No fireworks with a good soundtrack. But at least there will be limited-time snacks featuring all the food coloring!
