Why is POTC getting a refurb here soon, it got a major one about 2 years ago, could this be happening bc of the girl who dumped the ashes into the water?

i would guess routine. im sure the ashes got filtered quite quickly... just like a swimming pool would

I hope they fix the Davy Jones projection. It was not working April 1st at a P&PP. It is a great effect when it works.

I think thats what they are fixing NikonJim...I found at mouseplanet in their construction update. "Magic Kingdom – install new chilled-water air handler units at Pirates of the Caribbean"

I hope they fix the Davy Jones projection. It was not working April 1st at a P&PP. It is a great effect when it works.

It was working on the May 21st at the P&PP I went to.

They are putting in a loop!

All attractions should be shut down for a minor refurb every few years no matter if it is a day or a few weeks for basic upkeep. I doubt this will be anything other then maybe some spit shine and gum removal.

As far as the ash goes no matter where it is dumped they will take care of that right away. That is not a wait and clean it up later. And it was at DL!
